Kind of dislike that they show all the unlockable characters in Gears 3 in the character select screen, even the Cole Train skin you could only get from the beta.

I'm having weird flickering on the Gears 3 Quick look 24 minutes in. I tried viewing it on both my PC and Mac and it's the same for both.

Anyone else having this problem or able to offer any help as to how I can fix it?

I tried downloading it and watching it that way and it must be a problem with the video because it is still happening.

This is the HD version but it looks to be happening in all the other ones too. It should be a problem with the upload and should be a problem for everyone.

I don't want to add this next to the constant screen tearing on PC Quick Looks as problems that they need to fix. :\

Just got half way through the Gears 3 quick look - yeah it's a problem.

That seems to happen with some quicklooks for me, I was noticing it in the menu here a lot.

Only in the menus here too. Probably only acting up because of their compression not liking the really slight way in which the background animates.

Resistance 3 got some really great reviews and looks interesting but this is the same shit someone brought up in the podcast thread. Giant Bomb don't cover everything, and Resistance is really not as big as you think it is.

Here I'm sitting, I can only hear through one ear so I always use one earbud. The music is catchy and all but after a couple of minutes I think to myself "why aren't they talking"? So I fastforward and search through all the 50 minutes of the clip but to no avail. And then I try out the other earbud and notice all the QL banter from the crew is only coming out of one channel xD

No offense intended... I mean I watched the R3 QL and thought it looked awesome and I now plan on buying it whereas I had only been peripherally aware of the series until now. So keep that in mind when I ask:

Do you seriously think that Resistance is anywhere remotely close to being as major a release as a new Gears of War title?
