It is time for a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT!! That's right Bungie and Microsoft, we'd like to thank you for your FALSE ADVERTISEMENT of the Halo 3 beta. Please refund our money that we paid for Crackdown. We only bought the game to play the Halo 3 beta. You have had plenty of time since Crackdown was released to do enough QA that this would be a smooth release. You have falsely advertise and marketed this beta all over and resulted in Crackdown sales being 1000% higher than it would have been. Refund our money!

Shit if I was one of the guys at Real-Time Worlds I'd be all emo and stuff. :(

Somebody on Bungie posted a link to Xbox 360 Wire UK which supposedly said Crackdown is being released gradually. The Web site won't load for me so can anybody confirm?
 
The funny thing is that these are the "loyal" members Bungie decided to divvy up F&F codes for.

I need an ETA update or something. I'm contemplating taking the day off from work and if it's not going to be up until much later tonight or tomorrow, then I don't want to waste my PTO.

So...because of that you don't say anything to the THOUSANDS of people that want to play your product? Some that took off work, didn't go to school etc. And I'm pretty sure that once it is resolved people will still be talking about how Crackdown owners were screwed.

Yeah, I'm starting to get kinda pissed because I used most of the last of my PTO to take today and tomorrow off.
 
Bungie decided to hand out F&F codes to these idiotas? I may be an idiot but I deserve it more than they do.

Anyway, damnit Microsoft just issue a statement please... put this all to bed so we can begin again tomorrow. It's getting ridiculous now.

Hundreds of thousands.

It is true that, with the beta running three weeks, once it's up this thrash will be a memory. But that sure as hell doesn't comfort anyone right now! I took the day off work and if I were still waiting for it I'd be going apeshit.

So true. They've done nothing but taunt the fact that we don't have the beta and they do.
 
Sad thing is every one of Bungie's 'fans' ripping them on bungie.net will be buying the Legendary Edition of Halo 3 on day one. So they might as well stop whining.
 
Since the beta was susposed to launch till now there have been 29 pages of people bitching about this....wow. I underestimated the stupidity of the interweb masses.

Yeah I kinda feel bad for the RTW guys.

First, your game is announced to have Halo 3 beta invite without you even knowing. Kinda makes u feel like u needed it for ur game to sell. Now everyone is blaming RTW, calling their game shit, and asking for a refund. Kinda sucks after spending all that time on the game.

All these guys did was put a link to the download in the game!
 
Lol, I still don't know who in their right mind would take off from work or school or whatever to download a beta of a game. Never mind the fact it would be available for download after work or school or whatever.

There's no way they would do two Halo comics in a row. For one, that would be continuity, which isn't much their thing, and two, they just don't like the game all that much.

so i guess i will be in home, warhawk and even killzone 2 beta before halo3 :lol

Got my email and gave it a quick whirl (i'm a bit busy right now so can't dive into it too much). Looks GREAT aside from the aliasing. Very vibrant and the character lighting looks REALLY nice(some of the best I've ever seen). Aliasing is a big problem though. It doesn't exactly have the best image quality on the system. Not even close.

Seemed fun, just played a quick round of shotty sniper rumble pit on high ground. Was fun. I won. Can't wait to dive back in once I finish everything i need to do today.
