More talent at Halo than Gears? No way Pedro. We're the Gears masters. Whenever me, you, Hives, and Reagle play we just can't lose. I've been playing with some pretty good people in Halo so far though so i'm sure we could put a good team together by wednesday.
 
Playing some Halo 2 BTB...I completely forgot how bad the lag was. Has there been any word if the Beta will have an 8v8 playlist at one point?

I'd be great if Microsoft allowed us to group our friends so I know whos from GAF and such. I hate a month later seeing someone on my friends not knowing who it is and then realizing after I deleted them they were someone cool on GAF.

that, or a price drop combined with more reliable hardware. i already had a gifted 360 that didn't work straight out of the box, you understand.

So Microsoft makes you either repurchase or be online to play your purchased XBLA games, and it's okay.

Users give away their own accounts, which btw can be created without ANY authentication whatsoever regarding the information you entered, and it's violating something.

i can't believe you are advocating this, speevy. sure, it's free content. but it's still content you are not meant to have. it's violating the terms of service, it's unethical, and it's just plain a prickish thing to do. it's taking advantage of microsoft/bungie's generosity.

besides, you only have to wait *two* more days to get it legitimately, assuming you have crackdown.

Jesus people go grab a beer, jerk off, watch a movie and get some ****ing rest. Its really only a couple of hours of waiting after all the showers, eating, working, driving in the car, doing chores, going to the bathroom ect.

Plus you won't be looking over your shoulder the rest of your life wondering if Luke Smith in a black ninja outfit is going to pounce and remove your Halo 3 privileges.

Yeah, but why would Bungie (or MS for that matter) care if people are using this exploit for the Halo 3 Beta? I mean, if they don't have it by now, chances are people aren't going to go rush out and buy Crackdown solely for the beta. Plus, it's a beta...

...on top of that, how could that know how downloaded it officially with a code and who exploited it? They'd have to manually look through lists of people to find out who received the codes early and then ban accordingly... they couldn't pull that off in 2 business days (assuming they sent out codes to a few hundred people.) It'd be too much of a pain in the ass for what is essentially a free test anyway. Or am I missing something (ToS aside, because no one gives a crap about that... I mean MS didn't ban people from other countries that downloaded Marketplace Video from a US account)?

I'm just trying to figure out why I'm not meant to have it. Because I didn't post in this thread earlier? Because I didn't buy Crackdown?

We're not talking about piracy here. We're talking about a concert that's free to get into, but you can photocopy the tickets.

Again, if this is a really big deal, I won't say another word about it. But we're talking about a demo. If I hadn't been working all this week, I would have already chatted with the right people and gotten into this beta anyway. Does that make me unethical?

Plus how many codes did Frankie send out on GAF alone? They are not going to do anything about it, because they would end up banning people with legit codes in the process and get some major backlash.
