the main halo story may be over but it doesn't the franchise is over
Just wanted to echo the sentiments expressed in here over the last few weeks, days, and hours. Beta was a blast. Probably the best online experience I've had. Definitely the best. We came. We saw. We cybered. You gaffers are good shits, the lot of you.
Looking forward to September when I will mete out hot metal death from the barrel of my single SMG and then engage in unwanted, forced sexual intercourse with your digital, online representations once again.
Until then, I'll probably be playing Gears or Resistance or Killzone 2. Maybe Haze if I feel like being berated for killing some rebels.

Basically he's got a fully modelled head with textures adn stuff, You get to see his eyes (accomplished with pretty nasty scar underneath his eye - possibly from augumentations or a epic battle), nose and some cheeks. He's pretty pale and his face is hidden by teh darkness.

You'll find that the definition of a spoiler varies widely from person to person. For example, I don't consider any MP features to be spoilers, because what I really care about is the campaign. Anything even slightly story related has me running for the hills. Others are less touchy. Just suggesting that when posting information that's not offically released by Bungie or Microsoft, be conservative with the tags. Someone is likely to get upset otherwise.Chinner said:

Regarding the reveal of Master Chief's face... this very interesting. Some of you might remember the face that people thought they saw at a specific angle in the Chief's visor from the E3 trailer.
In my opinion it looks exactly like the face seen in that video. If I recall correctly, Stinkles shot that down as a reflection of the storm above the Ark, but now I doubt it.

Not to wreck your face finding efforts, but I thought this was best posted here. The small Halo 3 site I run called H3DA is continuing on without me going forward from today. I have written my last article for the site and it's a pretty decent-sized one that touches into the heart of Cortana's nature during Halo 3. It's all speculation and it's all written based on known and readily available information fused together by my lack of intellect...

You don't play as Master Chief in multiplayer, just a random Spartan II (or other numbers depending on the armour I guess)

Halo 1 MP: 9.4
+ Fun as hell, especially LAN's
- No online MP
Halo 2 MP: 9.7
+ Perfected online play, best there is, even today. Still as fun as Halo 1 MP
- Alot of stupid glitches, weird ways, don't know how you died. The power weapons were way way overpowered ie the sword
Halo 3 Beta MP: 9.8
+ Perfect balance. I never thought I died unfairly. Interface is awesome. So much more, but it's already been said.
- Custom games, even though we weren't supposed to play them, were missing something, They didn't seem as fun as halo 2. That will probably change with Halo 3. and more maps!!
