Agreed. Caracssonne is fantastic and one of my favorite board games around. It's widely known (along with Settlers of Catan) as *the* gateway board game of choice. Once you're hooked you'll be chomping at the bit for more european board games in no time.
And nice call on Viking Lords, it's a fun and reasonably polished clone of the board game Battle Lore which is a lot of fun.

PRINCE OF PERSIA RETRO (universal app) with the new (well for me they are, lol) updated controls layout and UI graphics is fantastic guys. The game is as awesome as always, I admit I'm huge fan of JM's PoPs but it really looks superb on iPad and for 0.99 I think is some friggin' good dealio. If you like PoP you shouldn't miss it, stat.
It's a port of the PC version, absolutely perfect and the virtual controls don't suck for once; also PoP's gameplay and rotoscope animations are a good match to those kind of controls. Only quibble is that it doesn't support multitasking, but lets you select the level you want to start at, a bit of a shame but this is not Angry Birds where it would be a deal breaker. I have no idea (well, I have a guess) of what happens if you get a call while playing on iPhone. But again, for that price it is a steal, game's a truly classic and still very enjoyable and relevant as far as iOS platforms game go.
Here's a shot of how it looks now, since all the ss on the net seem to be of the old version sans update.

I like those two, mind you I've paid each only $0.99 so that might slightly cloud my view on their true merits

Remember, unless you do as told here, your IRL first and last name, taken from your Apple ID, will be shown to your GC friends since firmware update 4.3. If you value that information and want GAF's leaderboards to show your proper nickname instead, here's how you do it:
Done, now that's who you're going to be listed as on your buddies' GC friends list from now on; this will only affect GC and has no effect whatsoever on your iTunes/Apple ID purchases/anything else. You can still buy whatever you want like you could before.

As support for Gamecenter grows, and Openfeint's not that bad as well (Tiny Wings GAF's craze!), it seemed a good idea to give Gaffers one more reason to check out highscore leaderboards and online multiplayer. Hundred games support the feature now, and more and more are adding it by the day, either out of the gate or with a post-launch patch. Best of the best like Flick Kick Football, Dodonpachi, Bit Trip Beat and Canabalt already have it, and tomorrow your favorite game will too! Steam, Psn and Live friend lists showed us how much friendly competion, or co-operaration, can improve a game we love, and with time iOS will make for great Gamecenter communities as well... The ubiquity of portable platform will make GC a staple of the gaming experience, you don't want to miss on that, right?
Lately we're having a blast with Mad Skills MX (motocross) challenges on Openfeint, hilarious trashtalking included, you should join too! I'm also often posting screenshots of GAF-only profile lists during this challenges: those are GAF related profiles and don't include any of my IRL friends, so don't be afraid to add them on the spot if you missed some of those from here! Remember to always send a friend request letting us know who you are on GAF, this is just to keep non-registered users from spamming our accounts.

- Go to the "ME" tab and tap the yellow ribbon that has your email written on it
- Now chose "View my Account" and you'll be prompted for your password
- Now scroll all the way down till the GC account section and tap on the Apple ID profile
- Change you first name and last name (you must entry both) with whatever you like (e.g. First Name: Dash, Last Name: Kappei)
Done, now that's who you're going to be listed as on your buddies' GC friends list from now on; this will only affect GC and has no effect whatsoever on your iTunes/Apple ID purchases/anything else. You can still buy whatever you want like you could before.

Just got to Jungle Escape on Rio and it looks like each episode will have different goals for their levels. This episode has monkeys to knock down instead of birds to free. Pretty cool. Makes me excited for the future episodes. Personally I can't get enough Angry Birds. As long as they keep giving me levels, I'll play it.

Interestingly enough, their recent release of War Pinball HD is said to be heads and shoulders above their earlier tables in a review I saw the other day, and War Pinball HD has three tables too, which I didn't realize it, so I may break down and try it earlier than I thought.

I have, between bouts of Super Swing Golf. It's basically the barrel sections of DKC. It starts off easy, but some of the later levels are pretty devious. It's definitely worth the 99 cents. And Super Swing Golf is probably my favorite Game so far. So awesome. Also, screw you iPad owners, I want to play S&S so bad :/Koodo said:

just bought forget.me.not and i'm having tons of fun with it. it's basically pacman meets space invaders meets rogue. gonna try some multiplayer with the wifey tonight. i tried it out myself and each player controls their character using opposite sides of the screen. the retro graphics and sound are ace. definitely take a look if this is your cup of tea.

I think ROXIO nailed the perfect tablet title and all the power to them. I'm loving RioHD. The fact that btw episodes, the art/assets change and looks amazing is what makes it great. The audio is also amazing.

Hard to say. Minotaur Rescue is probably the better pure game, but I've been playing Minotron pretty much every day since it came out. Easily two of my favorite games on the platform.mattiewheels said:
