Looking forward to the new update... But music? No thanks. It's unnecessary.

Why wouldn't you want some music in Dungeon Raid? You're bound to run out of podcasts and medieval music at some point.

Death Rally is awesome. Wow. The control is hard to get used to (Wish I had one of them springgy joysticks to keep the finger in the area) but it's amazing. It's different enough from Reckless to justify both purchases.

Another promotion from Pikpok - Zen Puzzle Garden for iPad just got an update which enables full screen antialiasing on iPad 2, and we have reduced the price to 99c for the weekend.

Gameplay has you controlling a monk trying to rake a Japanese rock garden without cornering yourself on the sand.

Trailer is here, and you can download the whole soundtrack (by Module of Shatter fame) for the game for free from here.

Bought even though my brother has my iPad in Hawaii. =c Thanks Mario!

Pool Bar - Online Hustle for iPhone and iPad is free. I haven't tried the iPad version but I love the iPhone version.

I posted about this two days ago but people seemed to miss it (it ended up right before a new thread).

Trainer Drop, which is a pretty amazing puzzle game for iOS, has gone free and you should totally download it. It has an oldschool (SNES/Mega Drive) presentation and overall really polished looks and gameplay, Game Center support and well, did I mention it's free?

hahhaha, it is lovely and so simple. it just feels right. nice level of polish too. :) let's get it going on gc leaderboards!

I got a preview version of Simogo's new game Bumpy Road. You know, they did Kosmo Spin.

It's really lovely. Sort of an endless runner (in the "Evergreen Ride"-mode at least, the other mode, "Sunday Trip", isn't available in this version), but with a deeper control design and a great sense of accomplishment as you pick up bonuses.

It looks fantastic.

You also collect photographs which unlocks a story about the old man and woman (that sits in the car), how they met, fell in love, about their life together.

I recorded a short video clip. There's no sound, unfortunatly (so you have to imagine a sweet little melody that sticks like bubblegum). Something happened and now the batteries in my camera are dead.

Should be available in may, it's an universal app, no word on price yet. Could become something special.

Anyway:

With Game Center you can just send one message and add every profile on the list with a comma after each name.
If you've already added them, nothing happens but the new ones will stll receive your request.

Tried this and it doesn't look like you can copy-paste a list of names separated with commas. Game Center wanted to send just one invite to everyone-on-the-list-as-one-username. :( Ended up having to type them manually one by one (70 or so remaining).

Meh.

First day buy.

Haven't seen the clip yet but after Kosmo Spin and the beauty of that game, I'll definitely be getting this. The design looks fantastic.

I find a lot of posts talking about new games, this one included, come off like advertisements, haha. I dont know if you did make it, It doesnt matter either way, I just much prefer when people just come out and say "Hey! I made this game, check it out!" if they did in fact make it, or are hired to promote it.

Cmon man, it's free shit. Who cares if they're advertising at that point.

Even if he is, it's free, so I'm happy. If he was spamming even a $1 game, it would actually be in his favor to admit that he made it, though! The GAF love in this thread runs thick.

Yeah for sure, I dont really care either way, its not something that effects if I download it or not anyway.

Just pointing out, that in my eyes, a lot of people seem to format their posts like a PR blurb.

It doesnt really bother me, I didnt say:

" Fuck this PR shit! I wont download your game bro!"

Just that a lot of this stuff PR ish, and it throws me off. If its real PR, then just say so, if its not, then try to not make it sound like it! haha.

edit: Also, I do care if there are people here that are just hired to advertise products secretly.

still lovin' trainer drop. get it while it's free fellas, serious we need more gamecenter high score battles!

Anyone tried KillingZone Defense? Looks like a Plants Vs Zombies clone.

It's pretty awful imo, you don't place stuff or collect resources other than when you kill things, and you have to reload all the time and the weapon selection is under-developed and boring and not really too understandable in terms of what the differences are.

PetsWar is the closest thing to PvZ in the app store I'm aware of.

Since we're on the subject of shilling, I would like to remind you that I had a hand in creation of this little game. If it was a console title, you'd rent it for easy achievements/trophies ;) And hey, it does have OpenFeint...

I just beat World of Goo and I have to say I'm pretty impressed. The Red Carpet was my favorite level probably, I think it was the best combination of atmosphere and music.

What was up with all the block shit at the end though? That was probably the weakest part of the game. I'd say the first half of the game was a little better than the second half.

edit: And for .99 what a steal, really enjoyable gaming experience.

Looked for your score yesterday (I just played a couple of matches) but couldn't find it... Unless you are the dude called "anonymous"?

Does anyone recommend any SRPGs?
I'm fond of games like Fire Emblem and Shining Force. iPad ideally, but iPhone is okay too.

Also, it may sound strange but I'm finding it really hard to latch onto Game Center because I can't get any of my preferred nicknames :( Does anyone else have this sort of problem with services?

"iOS and Android" is so misleading. It almost implies Android users buy games.

We have 3 iPod Touches and two Android phones in our household and games are bought for both platforms.

I go where the games are.

Great Little War Game is free for the weekend. I've seen some mixed reviews, but the sRPG showing is pretty weak on iOS, and hey it's free.

It's not a new game, but I hadn't heard about it until Stuart Campbell reviewed it in Free-App Hero. It's free for a couple of days and I figured I'd spread the word because it is a genuinely good puzzle game and no one was talking about it.

I'm not sure why you think it sounded like an ad but I have no affiliation with the people who made this whatsoever.
