How does a shitty game fill the gap for an absent good game?
Or is your Gamelofting just going over my head?

How do I unlock the new ship? I'm on ipad 3g right now and I'd rather not check on youtube.
It doesn't (damn you iTrials, damn you to hell).dream said:How does a shitty game fill the gap for an absent good game?

You can only level up/progress the plot up to a certain point in the free version.ChackanKun said:Ok, what is the difference between Warpgate Free and Paid versions?
I can't find anything anywhere :|
playing this on iPad is glorious. lots of value here and a great game to boot. i can vouch for this one!TechSamurai said:Quick recommendation for two games that I don't remember seeing in here:
Super Stick Golf http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/super-stick-golf/id397049430?mt=8

Simple and fun little golf game. Sequel to Stick Golf and it contains all the original game's courses. Retina and Game Center supported, and they will be making it a universal app eventually. Currently on sale during a launch promo.
I know I am quoting myself here, but the universal update is out now (native iPad support), and they are starting work on adding multiplayer.
hyp said:flying hamster got released for ios, with full retina display support @ 60fps. i believe they also released this game through PSP minis. it's basically a shmup inspired by konami's parodius series. seems very polished and interesting. appears to be very content rich hence the price @ $5.99.

Or a good one </= 99p?
Cloudreader and Stanza don't.

Dash Kappei said:Awesome, rich text format and doc support, going to check it out right now!
edit:
Which one??
RelentlessRolento said:anyone know if Gravonaut is worth it? As dumb as it sounds, ever since they updated the icon for it I want it now.
Yeah, the power meter has to go slow since, as you say, it's more or less a puzzle game. A faster power meter would mean that many of the crazy shots you have to make would be near-impossible to repeat. It would be badly frustrating.AstroLad said:It's almost like a puzzle game pretty neat. Lots of content too and very challenging.
My only nits atm:
-would be cool to have variable wind, but that's maybe a selfish request since i prefer a realish golf game vs a puzzle game
-power meter charges up too damn slow -- why does every iOS golf game do this!? maybe i'm just old school but i like the power-setting to be challenging although obviously here the big challenge is calculation
Sounds like you already picked something, but I think any file storage/viewer type app can view those types. There's a bunch of free ones I think, so if you haven't gotten anything yet that's another option to look into. If you have a Dropbox account the Dropbox app might work for it (you can also star stuff for offline access), and PlainText can edit txt files on a DB account.Dash Kappei said:Is there a free app on the ipad to read txt files and maybe even rtf?

But I agree with you in general about the general awfulness of other true golf games on iOS. None of them can hold a candle to Hot Shots Golf.![]()
Had my eye on this; going to check it out.Squirrel Killer said:Wizard Hex, a boardgame-like which generated some discussion a few pages back, is down to $3 from $5 until Jan 11th. That was enough for me. I've only played one game so far, but it seems nicely put together.
Thanks! Just what I expected!60_gig_PS3 said:Ill give you guys a preview of the next update of my iphone game.
I'm just making this for fun but my personal challenge to have the best ball rolling game on the app store. With this update I think I have Super Marble Roll beat
Of course anyone who bought or downloaded old version will get this for free.

Also Flight of the Amazon Queen. Isn't as good as any of the ones mentioned above but worth a look at if at least for the two opening scenes.dream said:You're missing Phoenix Wright and Beneath A Steel Sky.
