The King Of Fighters XIII - Console version detailed

The first one is Kyosuke (Rival Schools). Looking forward to seeing how making Betty into Franny works on actual color edit.
 
Dressing SNK characters as Capcom's is damn right offensive for me. ;-)

I see it more as... blessing the Capcom characters with shockingly solid artwork, as a tribute to their creators and original appearances!

Wow! You can differentiate the top and bottom colors of his gi? DAMN! That's so cool.

And yeah, given their similar appearance I was planning to make a Franny edit for Elisabeth. That and a Vanessa Doofenshmirtz Kula and a Ferb K' (Fun fact: K's VA voices Ferb in the Japanese dub of Phineas and Ferb) Beyond that I'm not sure yet.
 
Cant watch the stream... but thumbs up to Atlus.

Awesome stuff about the SoCal tourney.
 
Atlus' head hancho was on the stream talking about how they've played a few online matches. Going off the stream, I think they've been playtesting internationally and within the same state. Online woes diminishing....

I just got to watch 1' but that Atlus guy has a cool voice.

*sigh* Why will nobody ever let me finish arcade mode? Is it too much to ask? I was already at the final stage before the bosses, at least let me get a round with Saiki -___- Seriously, I can very rarely get past stage 3 because someone always ends challenging me, and since I can't beat anyone I can never continue and have to wait until everyone is gone or another day.

A tip for the newbies that I've been discovering the hard way. Even if saving your meter for your anchor sounds like a good idea, it's a bad idea to not use it when it would be beneficial. Changing the way I think changed my battles from "completely free" to "still free but I can at least take out 1 or 2 characters" >.>



Anyways, what happened on the GS stream?

The only really interesting thing they have been saying is that they've done extensive testing to the online internationally( US, Canada, Europe, and Japan).

AtlusAram in person? :O I finally see the sexy body of the smooth voice.

It always stinks that these things are such a small window of time, but he did such a good job to pimp out a lot of info for the game. He pretty much got asked a question, barely or didn't at all answer it, and ran with it to talk about 4 other things hahaha.

When he mentioned spectator mode I was hoping it'd lead to, "we'll try to get in later after release," but sadly it was just a seg way to pimp out replays and mission mode. Oh well.

More exposure is good, but I'd like to see him do an online match from West Coast to central USA or even to East Coast. As long as the game is on parity with SF4 smoothness, then it'll be accepted fine with fighting gamers at home.

Lack of spectator mode and the release date is what makes me feel sad about this games chances to reach more mass appeal. :(

also, everyone tell atlus to support southtown... :)

The SoCal thing needs to be made into a new thread, so that more people know about it.
Also does Maximillian live in SoCal? (Just asking since I remember him living in Coalifornia but not which region =P)

Ahhh, I remeber seeing the "Pretty girl in a back alley" poster, but not the CDs. That's kinda nice though; An actual jewel case, and some pretty classic-looking CDs, reminds me of the few import Music CDs I own.

Oh, yeah. I do believe that we are going to get these things. I meant that the art and case for the CD's might be preliminary. But the theme of the soundtrack discs match with the art disc, so this is probably what its going to be like.

Mhm. You are probably remembering the Amazon.co.uk image, which featured the stuff in this image, but for whatever reason, not the soundtrack discs.
 
My dream selection for the CD's:

Disk 1 - Selected tracks from KOF94, 95, 97, 98, 99
Disk 2 - KOF 96 full soundtrack
Disk 3 - KOF 2000, 2002, 2003, Neowave, XI
Disk 4 - KOF MI, MI2, KOF XII, KOF 13

The only full one shown from the image above seems to be KOF 13.

Man, I'd be happy with just Shining Brave (Playing Xiang Fei, I hear it a lot, and it gets me in the mood to teach people how plane shifting worked in RB while using her HSDM, lol), and Nameless Theme, which I rarely ever hear in-game, as some characters are always selected first.

A friend of mine didn't like the Fatal Fury Team's theme in the game, lol. SO IT SOUNDS LIKE DATE SIM MUSIC! I still think it fits Terry's happy-go-lucky personality well, haha...

Too much great KoF Music over the years... Hmmm, I wonder if we'll get music for the DLC characters on this soundtrack as well. Oh, and that's probably the entire sstage soundtrack of KoF XII on there, lol. Which is fine by me; I really liked the Temple theme!

I was hoping KOFXIII on PS3 would have custom soundtrack i have fair amount to KOF OST's on my HDD.
That's what i play SSF4 sometimes.

Ah, both of those songs are great. Nameless' theme is so sad. Almost brings a tear to my eye. :_(

I do prefer his theme without the vocals, though.
