I wonder of the new iPad Pro 9" with a keyboard would be a good replacement for my '07 MacBook?

Honestly one of my best purchases is that computer. I back it up constantly because I figure it can't possibly last much longer but it just keeps chugging along!

Really tempted to sell off my Air 2 and Smart Cover on Swappa to upgrade to the 9.7" Pro. Honestly think I could get away with the 32 gb so it would only be like a $200 upgrade, but if I decided to go 128 gb it would still only be like a $350 upgrade.

iPhone SE looks like a winner for all of us who wants a smaller phone. Great hardware and an affordable price. I never understood why we don't have a similar android device. They are all 5"+ or underpowered. I hate when they make smaller phones worse than the bigger ones. I'm looking at you samsung!

Just read that the SE only has 1GB of RAM

only way to know for sure is a teardown and benchmarks but if it's using the same chip (A9) as the iphone 6S then it should be 6GB Ram unless they're making 2 chip versions just to lower the Ram which makes no sense. Same size.. same price for Apple.

I"ve always been a Tock Guy.

I had an iPhone, iPhone 4, iPhone 5, and now, iPhone 6.

Should... should I really change to Tick?

I used to be a Tock guy too but skipped the 6 and went to the 6S. To me a physical redesign is less important than internal changes. Then again, if the rumors of the camera system is true that might tempt me enough.

I don't like using Apple products, but I'm thrilled that they've announced a smaller phone. I love having a compact device. Right now I use both a Lumia 950 and a Moto X Pure 2015, and they're both just a hair too big (i.e., sometimes I use two hands for them).

Hope that in turn inspires some other companies to make smaller flagships, or at least smaller phones with a good amount of horsepower behind them.

Well looks like I'm getting an iPhone SE.

4" is plenty big for a phone I think.
I'll most likely wait till May and make sure no issues crop up in the first month.
It's totally not because I don't have the money currently.

Think I am definitely going to get the iPhone SE but I will hold off until reviewers get their hands on it because the 2GB of RAM will make or break it for me. I know it sounds dumb, but the RAM upgrade is probably the biggest "future-proof" feature about the iPhone 6S and I would rather spend more for an iPhone 6S/iPhone 7 if the SE doesn't have it.

Updated to 9.3 on my Verizon 5S. Is wifi calling automatic or do I have to turn it on somewhere? Can't find the setting anywhere and would help out immensely calling from home where I have poor cell service

If anybody is thinking about getting an iPhone SE it is worth noting that the phone is exactly the same size as the iPhone 5/5S and so you could possibly find some cheaper cases to use with it. I know Target has clearance'ed the official Apple cases in the past and Best Buy has the Black/Red/Brown leather case for $27 on clearance.

Is there a way to set up Nght Shift bases on sunset and sunrise times like f.lux?

Oh, nevermind, I found it.

Settings > Display & Brightness > Night Shift > Scheduled

You can set the From/To to literally be "Sunset/Sunrise" or set custom times.

Thanks, I found it like a second after I posted lol

Weird that they wouldn't set it up that way be default.

I love the iPhone4 design, and it looks like they've aped it with the new 4 inch model.

Good idea. They should have copied it for their flagship as well.

Looks like Apple dropped the price of trade-ins

Previously:
4/4S: $100
5/5C/5S: $200
6: $300
6 Plus: $350

Now:
4/4S: $50
5/5C: $100
5S: $150
6: $250
6 Plus: $300

Tempted to sell my Surface Pro 3 for a iPad Pro 10" and a laptop. Surface seemed like a great idea but it sucks as a tablet. And being able to take notes on something as thin as an iPad would be great.

Strange why the SE has the 5 design and not the 6. For consistency sake they should've gone with the 6/6s design because it looks out of place in that line up photo.
6/6S design are terrible.

Superior 5/5S design makes SE the best iPhone ever created.

what kind of laptop would you get though? Surface pro (and my wife's Zenbook UX306) kind of spoiled me for laptops, I think I'd want an ultrabook style just for the portability. And those aren't cheap - might be just as simple to keep the surface pro but use it just as a laptop.

I find it fine for tablet use - browsing on chrome now has smooth scrolling, and snap works well for two apps side by side. As long as you don't have to type anything - windows 10 has an appalling touch keyboard.

Love the SE. I'm still on a 5S and never really liked the 6 size when I've messed with it.

My only complaint is 16 Gb base memory and still no idea how much RAM it has.
