I'm on PC and it crashes at least once per day :/Are these crashes/disconnects that people keep complaining about something that mostly happens on consoles? Playing on PC, the only issue I have to deal with is some laggy games once in a while, probably due to the host.

So, I played the APEX mission last night, in the Remnant ruins? Yeeeeah. I had fun with it, but I sincerely hope that doesn't enter the main rotation. It's basically just one room. Way too tight for me. Need a little room to roam.
My drivers are up to date, I've rechecked the installation of the game, and I'm well within the recommended hardware specs. When I was still playing regularly I was experiencing crashes (both to dektop and to main menu), freezes, audio cut outs, server sync issues etc. multiple times per session (usually 1-2 hours at a time). I really doubt it's because my setup is busted, considering the experiences I've read from other players.Thing is with PCs, is that there isn't one like the other, so if I can play for days without a crash and you get daily crashes, it could be due to outdated drivers, faulty game installation or hardware, or simply hardware below the recommandations.

Seems that way, ha.So basically, the crashes are RNG base, just like the loot boxes. Either you're one of the lucky ones with a stable game, or one of the unlucky ones with an unstable game. No matter if your machine is fine or not.
I hope they're sincerely trying, though. Honestly at this point I'd take bug fixes over balance changes (though I'd prefer both). The instability is really what's pushing me from playing more often more than anything.Must be a pleasure for the devs to try and find what's wrong.
That is fantastic.I'm the best Mass Effect player in the world.
I'll try to make a gameplay video this weekend!I just can't make the Gladiator work other than farm low-tier mooks with pull-melee.I don't know how people are pulling 20k+ with her in Gold.
Awesome!I'll try to make a gameplay video this weekend!
Still strong with Turbocharge classes. So I've just unlocked the N7 Valiant and wow the fire rate is way slower than ME3. I've only used the thing on silver so I've gotta ask, is this thing viable on gold?
I'm fairly certain there is an option to disable aim assist somewhere in the gameplay settings (on PC at least). So I've just unlocked the N7 Valiant and wow the fire rate is way slower than ME3. I've only used the thing on silver so I've gotta ask, is this thing viable on gold?
On a side note there seems to be something weird with the aiming in this game. Whenever I zoom, the crosshair seems to automatically track enemies to a slight degree. It's really messing with my aim as sometimes I can only barely move the crosshair. Anyone else having this issue or know how to solve it?
You get almost no credits for a failed mission on any wave in any difficulty, so it's always better succeed at a Silver mission than fail at a Gold one. That said, as long as your character is around 15-20 and you have a weapon you're comfortable with, you'll probably do pretty well in Gold.So what's easier for credits farming? I haven't tried doing random gold missions yet, but I'm going to assume the success rate is pretty low compared to silver. But is a gold mission failing on Wave 5 still going to give more credits than a successful silver mission?
Got the game yesterday and played a round with randoms and loved it, though it's too early to tell if I'll enjoy it as much as ME3's multiplayer but one thing that sucks is the lack of music during the match. I loved the dynamic music during hacking or extraction ME3 had, this is just silence.
Is there a way to put on a helmet for the classes that don't have one?
What? There's a lot of music in my MP games.
Ya there is a sound issue, sometimes the game goes complete music-less, or Kandross voice is missing for the entire game. There is? Great. Perhaps it was a sound glitch because it did seem awfully silent, outside of guns and abilities I couldn't hear anything.

**Revanant/Thokin soldier is really incredible even in Gold.
For Thokin, just use an AR Magazine mod.Thokin doesn't have a big enough clip. Revenant is only good while power by overcharge, it's average in the moments between overcharge. There's always a caveat...

A biotic god. Super fun to playJust unlocked Kineticist. any good?
Have you always wanted to throw fools off the map or into other fools?Just unlocked Kineticist. any good?
Ya just used Exp boost for nothingAnyone else crashing and rubberbanding like hell?

How dafuq do people already have Vanquisher X at low Apex ratings.
To make matters worse, they're essentially doomed to be short on skill points unless you're some statistical anomaly and manage to pull their cards nine more times really quickly. Locking skill points behind repeated character card drops was an absolutely terrible, cynical decision. Why are all the URs such trash? The common human classes are the best ones except for the tech based ones (Engineer, Infiltrator, and Sentinel). I remember in ME3 where the N7 classes were leagues above everything else. Biotic Ascension is trash and will remain that way as long as you get knocked out of it so fast on gold, The Operator is an inferior version of other classes that have better passives or skill synergy, depending on your usage, The duelist is a weaksause melee build compared to the Human or Krogan Vanguards, same goes for the Gladiator. The Avenger is nice I guess, but it's not that great for an UR.
Calling them trash is hyperbole, but they really need massive buffs, Biotic Ascension needs to be up as long as you're alive, The Operator and Duelist need better passives than the generic ones, The Avenger is too reliant on power cells (I really hate the power cell mechanic, so I might be biased here), The Gladiator needs charge instead of Nova.
TL;DR
The URs feel like every other rarity class, they're not awesome like they're supposed to be.

If they really wanted to put ten of each character card into the pool to increase the number of boxes it takes to unlock everything, they should've just included a few more cosmetic options and had those be the only thing you unlock from repeatedly pulling a character. It still would've been annoying to get a character drop when you wanted a weapon or a mod or something, but it would certainly be better than what we have now where my Common and most of my Rare characters are much more powerful just by virtue of the fact that they can more properly invest into their own kits (unless you're the Angara Insurgent, who can top charts in Gold/Silver even at an early level).
The UR classes are insanely strong even at card I. Just need to learn the mechanics or watch a video. Why are all the URs such trash? For example, Gladiator benefits from the pull cascade mechanic where all enemies in her hammer hitbox suffer the same bonus damage as the first pull target. Pull one mook, bring to heavies and hammer down, massive damage.
Invasion and shield boost makes the Operator the best support class in the entire game.
As for Avenger, power cells are super plentiful, she has excellent movement to get to them and ammo packs are overflowing anyways.
She is trickier to use than the usual facerolls, but is a chart-topper once you pull it off. Best fking catharsis too, when you dump your payload on a big crowd. The Gladiator doesn't have the survivability of the Vanguards (especially human, with charge and saving barrier), still more tanky than the other squishy URs with Rage though.
Insurgent? What does he have that is better than Invasion? 😙You can get the Shield Boost with an earlier card that has better skills.
Insurgent? What does he have that is better than Invasion? 😙
Ultra rates aren't supposed to be flat out better. That was never the case in me3, unless your telling me Volus characters should be the default picks. Ultra rates are supposed to be the cool, interesting heroes with weird powers that makes them stand out, but they were never supposed to be straight up better.
The loot system is based on ccgs, and your ultra rare cards in ccgs aren't guaranteed to be better, they are just flashier and often weirder.
Thanks I will respec to AOE pull.Pull 2 mooks and hold them and wait by a door, holding them.
When a krogan comes in, melee the 2 mooks into the Krogan.....EVERYTHING dies. It does something crazy like 5 x damage.
You can half kill an atlus this way. Spec into area pull, Annihilation field, debuffs and melee and rage.
Her melee when holding using pull is MASSIVE damage. On Firebase zero, stay indoors, hold mooks and smash melee them into anyone coming at you.
You can kill 5 things almost with 1 melee. Shields are your enemy, and team mates killing mooks you try to pull which messes up your special melee.
Also you can get your rage up in 1 melee lol, use regenerating health to keep you alive. Can score VERY highly on zero if team mates dont steal your pulls.
The scenario where trip mine is superior to invasion is if I spend ammo packs and/or use the capacity boost.Trip Mines do actual damage. But it's a power cell power, so fair point.
EDIT: Ultra Rares are supposed to be better, not barely better or arguably better, where are the Geth Juggernauts or the N7 Shadows of the game?

All classes are meant to be about equally-balanced. Not sure about guns though hehe.
I thought it was pretty fun. We were able to down the Kett on gold with 2 salarian architects, a vanguard, and an asari adept. It's chaos, but reasonable if everyone uses consumables (this is hard to find, admittedly).Decided to try out the mission with the new map and it's a complete piece of shit that can't possibly have been playtested for balance or fun or much of anything.
As a one-off thing I don't mind that it's a quick copy paste from the campaign, but I worry about that statement about bringing the map into the regular rotation, because it doesn't belong there.
