Yeah, I went to Bestbuy this morning and bought the CD+Blu-ray version. Got to have that surround sound Blu-ray Opeth.

Any suggestions?

Watain, Dark Tranquility, Behemoth, The Crown and The Haunted I already listen toYou and I have some similar tastes. Here are a few off of the top of my head.
At the Gates, Watain, Dark Tranquility, Behemoth, The Crown, Sylosis, The Haunted, Goatwhore, The Black Dahlia Murder, and Dark Funeral.
Old Man's Child and Dimmu Borgir aren't really death metal but, I'd give them a go based on your tastes.
Never heard of it, will check it out!Good stuff. Bolt Thrower!
Anyway, have you listened to Effigy of the Forgotten? My favorite Death Metal album of all time. I've listened to it constantly for more than eight years and I never get tired of it.
Behemoth, Luciferion, Morbid Angel's first three albums.I need some help finding more death metal to listen to.

Yep.Also yes, Bolt Thrower is probably the best death metal band in the world.
Ummm nope.Or at least, the most brutal.
Basically I'm looking for evil brutal death, but with a hint of, I dont know... groove? in the songs?.

You clearly haven't invested much time in listening to Altars.
Nothing Deicide has ever done even comes close to the greatness of Altars of Madness.
Man, you at least have a designated driver with you, right?
I hope you are just joking here man.
Seriously, don't drink and drive. It's not something to take lightly, it's dangerous as fuck. Safety first. Not chastising you, I do care.
So it turns out Pentacle is fucking awesome. $24 for the ticket -- not terrible, considering I can get drunk off my own supply beforehand and take public transportation to the venue.
Of course I don't drink and drive, ya doofusIn fact, I saw Brocas Helm perform that song live before and I actively booed them afterwords because I find the message of the song to be so disgustingly shitty.
I DO appreciate the concern though, my metal brotha \m/
All this Morbid Angel talk makes me want to listen to Altars again.
Too clean. The chorus reminds me almost of Soilwork.
...this coming from a guy who thinks their best song is Forging Towards the Sunset
All this Morbid Angel talk makes me want to wear my Morbid Angel shirt to work tomorrow.
Last year I had a particularly terrible day at work. This is saying a lot, considering that I usually like my job and feel fortunate to be in a position to do what I do. But the shit that I was going through had me seriously close to quitting. To loop the stupid inebriated paragraph above into something slightly more worthwhile, how many of you particularly enjoy a metal show while in a bad mood?
