Are you fucking serious? That was THE period where he was playing his worst in the entire career. The commentators still say he's not 100% back to Federer of old. I don't know if you just started watching tennis, or what, but during the exact period of time you mentioned is when everyone said he was moving slow, his forehand lost accuracy, everyone was writing him off and saying he should retire.
