Not really. You just kill-->die-->respawn and repeat on the same ~8 smallish maps forever. Most people who like that for some reason tend to stick to BF and COD now so there's really no need to have it in every single game with similar mechanics. Just play the 30 other TPS that have it.
It a massive resource hog, FXAA is less intensive.

My vote goes to 4x MSAA . I had zero problems with letterboxing in games so far, and this looks more than fine:
Can they really not run 4x at 1080? Im sure theyll get to that mark if they lock down to 30fps.
Hey tech bros. How does MSAA compare to other AA methods.
Isn't msaa awfully resource-hungry? I feel that SMAA T2X looks the same or better at MUCH less resource cost. At least it did in Crysis 3.
4x MSAA with these netbook cpus and a low end gpu, but how?! /s
Impressive, I just hope it's like 12 hours or more. I think 12-15 is my bar for a game with no MP or co-op. 6-10 would just be too low, that's like a weekend of play.

IQ>Resolution
Is 4xMSAA really necessary?
Is 4xMSAA really necessary? Are the benefits enough to compensate for the high requirements?
That's because it blurs everything to shit.
I get his point though. This generation there's several AA methods to use, so the choice of 4xMS seems odd. I'm not against it though.
What's 4xMSAA? Some form of aliasing technique? Where have I seen it used before?

FXAA also blurs the screen.
That VanWinkle fellow is downright rude.

1080p without any AA is still full of jaggies.
Doubt it. They'll just use a lower AA. Killzone runs at 1080p and has a really clean IQDamn, 4xMSAA? Very impressive.
I wonder...
Are their only options 1920x800 with 4xMSAA and 1920x1080 with no AA/cheaper AA?
Isn't FXAA owned by Nvidia? I am not certain anyone is allowed to use that implementation without licensing if you are using competitor hardware.
Dam 4xMSAA is kinda rare on consoles should be a clean IQ game.
Yeah. Look at this picture. It cleaned up everything except those metal support beams in top-left, and even that is barely noticeable. Is 4xMSAA really necessary?

MSAA is still the highest quality option out there.*
I really wish the "No multiplayer WHAAAAAH!" crowd would just shut up.
