Methinks you're just a tad biased. :D No doubt there's a "recency effect" going on here, I'll admit to that. :P

The Kobe dunk was sick, but Lebron's was better in a sense because Jones actually curled up into a fetal position trying to avoid getting posterized. :lol

So it's teabag vs. fetal position. Hmmm....:D

That's funnier now than it was 4 years ago. :lol I wish I would've seen how hard they were laughing in the studio right when they cut to it at the end. :D

I love the part where he stops to think after "3 more lebols" to see how many more lebols they need, as if he was doing math in his head :lol

You can smell the smoke! :D

It's not even close. Lebron basically did the 2000 Olympics Vince Carter dunk, but against an actual NBA player (PG or not). The final score of the game didn't even matter....that dunk was off the charts....

Are you serious? Jamming over little Danon Jones who basically ducked outta the way is somehow better than tea-bagging Howard who tried to contest the dunk?

My man Pop is gonna coach in the AS game!

Man, Steph must be a coach's dream:

Coach: "Steph, you curl around the screen"

Steph: "Screen? What's that?"

Coach: "You know, a pick."

Steph: "....."

Coach: "A PICK"

Steph: "Pass that J, Amare...-- oh, sorry coach, you were saying?"

Coach: "Curl off the pick-- PICK, you know, that thing where he stands here and you run around him really close?"

Steph: "Oh...haha...yeah. A pick-- why didn't you just say that? Imma take picks to anudda lebol up in dis mofo."

:D

He didn't even dunk out of the way....he was knocked down. As in "holding his shoulder like a little bitch" down. If you watch the replay, Jones jumped up to contest, Lebron just smashed him aside and moved on. Not only that, but he took off for the dunk a good distance away (at the dash lines), which I always like.

EDIT- Looking at the slow motion replay, the best part is how Jones hopelessly flails his arms after the contact.

Over the past few years, the only dunks that can compete with that are Vince's heyday ones and the one Kobe threw down against Minnesota in the 2003 playoffs (so don't get too pissed, Konex).

Exactly. Kobe dunked all over a much bigger guy who actually tried to block/foul him...

Bron is great but come on. Jones saw he was gonna get creamed and he ducked out at the end. I don't see how anyone can objectively say that was more impressive than Kobe's dunk but hey :p

Uh, maybe you should watch the Kobe movie you just posted again. Howard is clearly trying to draw the offensive foul (even though he is in the restricted area...rookie). He's standing straight up with his arms up and making no effort to block the shot...he doesn't even jump....100% flat footed. It's an impressive dunk, but i've seen it done before and the Howard wasn't going after Kobe at all.

Bron's stealing all of Kobe's thunder! KONEX AM CRY! :D

Kobe had better convalesce quickly so he can commit some more TO's-- err, I mean, dunk on some more guys. Yeah, that's it! :D

Get well soon, Kobe! :P

I agree that the Kobe posterization was sicker just because he had his nuts in his face, but Howard didn't try to contest the dunk, he tried to draw the charge - notice his feet never left the ground. Poor Damon should have just ran out of the way...

Why are the TNT guys hating on Tmac, Kobe and Yao but no complaint about KG starting while his team is worse than LA and Houston? Shouldn't they be making a case for Dirk over Kevin?

Barkley hates T-Mac anyway, after T-Mac's 13 pts in 35 sec game against the Spurs he said it was just luck and didn't say ANYTHING positive about T-Mac :lol Stop hatin', Chuckster! COME ON!

Good point. Very good point.

Good for the Chuckster. Even though I don't agree with any of his other idiotic opinions, his sentiment concerning T-Mac is spot-on and also shared by many in the NBA elite -- including myself.

Btw Inside the NBA on TNT is often more entertaining than the games themselves. Best Postgame/Halftime show that currently exists for ANY sport.

What, you mean you don't like T-Mac? :(

Oh Shinobi, here's something that will get a laugh out of you.

Final All-Star Balloting

Alonzo Mourning (Tor) 223,743
Chris Bosh (Tor) 208,221

Poor Chris... :lol

WEST CENTERS
Yao Ming (Hou) 2,558,278
Brad Miller (Sac) 429,413
Marcus Camby (Den) 313,214
Rasho Nesterovic (SA) 256,286
Erick Dampier (Dal) 245,534
Vlade Divac (LAL) 186,044
Jamaal Magloire (NO) 160,760
D. Mutombo (Hou) 158,087
Brian Grant (LAL) 109,391
Theo Ratliff (Por) 102,291

Damn, Mihm gets no respect from Laker fans. Vlade and Brian Grant > Mihm? :lol

Oh and BTW, I believe the NBA should require all fans who want to vote players into the "All-Star" game to complete a quiz on various NBA subjects.

The amount of shit players starting the game is absolutely insane. Ray Allen is a reserve? Yao Ming is a starter?

Give me a break. Or at the very least, Chinamen should be banned from voting.

Yao doesn't deserve to be an all-star, but there isn't really much competition out there in the west, except for Brad Miller. Farmboy should start, that guy is a damned good player.

Mihm wasn't on the ballot, even though he has been the Lakers starting center all season. When the ballot was first released, I don't think Grant or Vlade had even played 1 minute in a regular season game. It's just one more example of the running joke we all know as the anual all-star selection process. Not that I think that Mihm should be an all-star this year, but the NBA splitting the L.A. vote between two players with a string of DNP's is more than a little silly.

The reason for that is that the NBA (which is about as retarded as its fans when it comes to all-star games) put Amare under PF, even though he's been playing center all season. Same thing with Lebron (should be SF) and T-Mac (ditto). Of course, Amare would never get the starting spot over Yao, but at least we could bitch more if they were in the same category.

Oh god...between this and him not being in NBA Street 3, Christ Bosh is getting no respect. At least he's dominating in real life.

God, I hate these comments. I would like to have someone like Amare starting too, but here's the deal. Last year Yao wasn't voted in by his fellow chinese. He won the arena vote, while Shaq won the internet vote. A year later, he is slightly better, no Shaq in the West, what did you expect?

Are you kidding me? Are you KIDDING ME? Chris Bosh is the sole highpoint of this abortion of a Raptors' season. How does he not get....excuse me, I have some phone calls to make.

C-Webb named player of the month in January
Brad Miller was also just named player of the week, things would be going really well for the Kings if it wasn't for all the injuries. In their last game against Golden State, they played without Webb, Peja, and Mobley, and were still able to pull it out in OT. Jason RIchardson had some extremely sick plays in that game, he is one of the most exciting players in the game, but he gets absolutely no press.

Hey guys, let me see your lists of reserves for the AS game. Here's mine:

West:
Amare Stoudamire
Rashard Lewis
Dirk Nowitzki
Ray Allen
Steve Nash
Manu Ginobili
Elton Brand

East:
Jermaine O'Neal
Ben Wallace
Antawn Jamison
Paul Pierce
Steve Francis
Gilbert Arenas
Dwayne Wade
