Ok she's not overweight...I like thick girls just as much as anybody, but I guarantee you she's got a ton of cellulite in those thighs.

You know a camera adds like 10-15 lbs to everyone you see right? She looks normal unlike 90% of the malnourished celebrities and musicians out there.

Damn, whats with this abnormal fear of body fat thats going around? No one likes hitting it from the back and catching nothing but hip and ass bones.

Look, I take that overweight comment back alright. I got into it a bit and just blurted it out. Hell, my favorite current pornstar is Alexis Texas. I'm just as down with a big round ass as anybody else here.

BC is still hotter tho

I can't stand her, man. From the way she dances (like a beached whale flailing around the sand for dear life) to the thievery of other peoples music to that obnoxious and lame as hell "Sasha Fierce" bs.
I know what you mean there. Always thought Beyonce's "dancing" was a little funny myself. :lol

You realize this is not Beyonce's fault completely do you? It's not like she works by herslef and she hasn't a manager and and a crew that schedules her performances. I bet this wasn't a case of Beyonce going: "OMG this sounds so good! I'm going to rip if off!!", it is more a manager/producer mistake.

This isn't something that can be solved with a simple apology or by giving credit to BC for owning that song. This is going legal most likely. They're profitting already on someone elses work.

They're not only ripping off the lyrics but also the instrumentation and chord sequences.

Dad-managers are evil evil people, I can tell you that.

The stealing of people's lyrics and slapping the performers name on the writing credits is sick. Beyonce makes a ridiculous amount of cash from touring and sponsoring products, and she is married to fucking Jay-Z. While its not her fault completely obviously, when they put her name on the writing credits she must've known about it, and obviously looked the other way.

It's obviously Gad's fault here (along with her parents). I don't know what Beyonce did to the OP but it must have been bad.

Gad was working on his album, he probably has the rights to the songs... I don't like seeing young artists used like this, but that's the nature of the business.

Beyonce's dad is messed up... I wouldn't do business with that guy at all.

NM, not even going to get into the sharp knees zone.

Sucks that her song got stolen, but this is probably one of the oldest stories ever written in regards to the music industry.

I don't think Beyonce has a soul. On Punk'd once they made her think she'd ruined Christmas for a load of children and she DIDN'T EVEN CARE. Also she can't sing. Scumbag.

From the way the OP is posting, I can't tell if he has an unnatural hate for Beyonce, or an unnatural love for this other girl.

Either way, the song sucks, maybe the girl should write better songs and maybe then god won't let bad men steal it.

This was a rumor that turned out to be false. BC and Toby are fully credited for the song Beyonce is not.

I thought the proof already came about that BC Jean had been compensated, thus her lack of attacking Beyonce personally. Just so happened that she uploaded her version of the song to her myspace or something and people found it and assumed Bey stole it.

:lol @ at this thread. The story has been proven to be bullshit, this is not news and BC was well aware of the song being sold to Beyonce and she got full writing credit . Plus, Beyonce's version is better anyway. Why are you such a hater OP? It's not cute.

This is a funny thread full of funny comments . . . not really but it's odd.

It clearly says that that Toby guy is the one behind this . . . that he duped a young singer/ song writer and ran off with her songs (her having a "mommy manager" problemly didn't help her in this event). He even tried to pull this on Disney.

It's not the case of Beyonce hearing this song in a random bag of CDs and yelling "I SHALL TAKE THIS!". And hell, well your hating on B you might want to check out this part.

The Carlsons, I’m told, recently came to terms with Beyonce, after enduring the kind of record biz terrors that would curl the hair of the guys from "Hit Men." Now, "If I Were a Boy" is hitting big time. Part of the deal, my sources insist, is that the two singers will duet on BC Jean’s debut album once she gets her own recording deal.

Not only does she have people trying to sign her left and right because of this fuck up but she also gets a duet with B on her debut album if this is true.

Newz? I don't think so. (And I don't like either version of the song)

Oh, and the next person to call B "overweight and disgusting" or diss on females having cellulite (regardless of taking these comments back) can either stfu and learn what real women look like or realize that its ok to be gay . . . cause you can't like the ladies with that kind of BS in la head.

As for who I would prefer . . . Beyonce.

I would go for Hilary Duff over this lady. I have seen enuff "pretty blonds". Shits boring.
(not that the girl looks bad or anything, just not to a level above alot of other "pretty blonds" in the buzz)

Edit- can you people post these "this is fake" sources?

As discussed here, new single If I Were A Boy was written by a San Diego singer called BC Jean. It’s credited to Jean and her producer, not to Beyoncé. Roger Friedman of Fox News has weighed in on this and claimed that Beyoncé’s famously tough manager father tried to bully her way onto the writing credits.

It’s easy to believe that happened - adding people to the writing credits of songs as a way of getting your share is as old as the music business itself. This story has spread all over the internet just from Friedman’s one paraphrased, unsubstantiated “I’m told that...” story. But Friedman has it in for Knowles. He has long disputed her songwriting accomplishments. He makes the ridiculous claim that Crazy In Love is just the horn sample, or that Baby Boy and Naughty Girl are no more than the songs they draw from (Here Comes The Hot Stepper and Love To Love You Baby).

Now there’s his statement that BC Jean’s version of her song is “certainly as good as Beyonce’s if not better”. That version is available on Jean’s website and listening to that raspy, whiny Four Non Blondes original makes me appreciate the Beyoncé soulful version all the more.

shit goes on all the time in the music industry
looks like the original artist isn't complaining
beyonce's version sounds much better but the song is still not all that
beyonce is much hotter than this blonde

in summary: sorry foxnews, the black girl didn't steal from the "smart", "gorgeous," and "beautiful" white girl.

i listened the the new beyonce double and album and i have to say i am pleasantly surprised.

i have always liked destiny's child and obviously what man does not like love beyonce but i never really saw much in beyonce beyond the eye candy and club hits.

but the "i am" portion of the album is terrific. she shows off her vocals.

wow at this thread, but she wrote beyonces biggest hit on her new album and should atleast get 250-500k for it. which I'm sure she is in contact with lawyers. this is also putting her name out there. also a damn shame her lawyers will take half smiling.

she should have had those lawyers there when she negotiated her contract with the producer. Normally it would be too little too late but it seems like Beyonce is handling this with some class and letting the little idiot, who likely didn't even noticed that she signed away all the rights to her songs, something in return.

Good on you, Beyonce.

Brit Hume? Is it showing as something different... it's a neapolitan mastiff with a santa hat, or did the joke go over my head

Needs a price tag.

Don't just be a blossoming woman, be a blossoming entrepreneur.

Having listened to the song all I can say is... she has a very idealised vision of what being a boy is like.
Eh, it's the typical "Men don't care/listen and are unappreciative hustlers who have no limits imposed upon them" line, whilst simultaneously ignoring womens' typical contributions to communications breakdowns in relationships and the differing taboos imposed upon either gender.

She knows it's not really like that. It's basically a complaint song to her boyfriend that will be listened to by girls who are clearly in unhealthy relationships.

Well, yes, but my way was shorter :D

I hear Simon Cowell is also angry with the Knowles family for stealing Halo (New single off the album)
The fella from One Republic wrote the song for Leona Lewis and the Knowles family strong armed him into letting Beyonce sing it. I must say after listening to the song it's definately suited to Leona's big voice and not Beyonces shitty voice.

That is not what happened. Ryan was tired of waiting for Leona to record it so he gave it to Beyonce. And the song fits Beyonce better anyway, she does a wonderful job with it.

God yes! I'm not much of a Beyonce fan at all (neither her singing nor her looks), but having said that, I think BC's version sounds absolutely terrible. Her voice sounds as if she smokes a carton a day and honestly I would have written it off as mediocre pop tripe if I had heard her version on the radio. I see Beyonce's version for likewise being aimed at the pop charts, but the difference being I actually stopped to listen to the song and inquired who sang it when I heard it on the radio the other day. It's really like night and day what her voice does for it.

On a totally unrelated note, I give BC a strong 5.0 out of 10 on my celeb looks scale. Note this is the "celeb" looks scale and doesn't apply to your average individual.
