I just wanted to try something 'easy' in a vector program. Didn't seem any easier than Gimp.
I'm still working on Shiren for djdac. I tried to do a flashier pose and now I'm stuck on the shading. :lol I'll post it tomorrow when it looks better.
edit: looks a bit cleaner with lighter shadow

The striders are great, in the future you should add the stroke and shadow before sizing down to your more gaf-friendly dimensions. I think that's why they look so chunky.

Yeah, when in doubt, go way big and then shrink small. Who knows, the developers might come around someday asking for the fanart to do a big compendium in-house.

Please don't. If it helps, you're actually one of my favourite artists in the group. Your scribbletars actually look like they could have been lifted right out of the game, whereas the others are just too high res and clean (which isn't bad, just a different type of appeal). Yours have a certain "scribbled" charm that fits perfectly with the style, and I'd hate to see them go.Bazoozoo_ said:

Meanwhile, I've certainly noticed that some artists' designs look more "sketched"/"drawn onto a notepad" while the others look more "pristine" for lack of a better word. I realize that the former gives it more of a Scribblenauts look (thanks largely to the DS's limitations), but the latter IMHO seems to capture the art-style itself.
I think it would be ideal if the artists could all agree on which style to use, but I guess that's not being particularly practical.
