sold the Z4, bought a 2001 Boxster S. Currently spending some time/money getting things up to snuff - its a little worn and torn from age, but only 48k miles which isn't bad.

Not sure I like it yet, but I'll give it some time to grow on me. Annoying whine coming from behind me - replaced the serpentine belt and one of the idler rollers but its still there. Sounds like a vacuum cleaner which is very irritating.

I like :) Im thinking about buying a BMW as a daily run around, the evo is a bit rough to be driving everyday as much as I love it.

and I wish the insurance costs would be reasonable for one of those EVOs here in germany. But it's just ridiculous :/

A thread that I should've had posted in earlier, seeing how much I love cars and whatnot :)

Anwyay, I'll post info on my current two cars, but here's a short list of the previous cars that are worth mentioning:
- 1992 S13 (CA18DET, my first "enthusiast"-type car, ie not my daily)
- 1999 GC8 Impreza WRX, 340hp
- 2003 JDM Impreza STi
- 1999 DC2 Integra Type-R with a K20A2 swap. Made 250+ N/A HP.
- 1990 RX-7 FC3C (C for convertible! :))

So yes, in case you haven't figured it out already, I'm a sucker for japanese cars.. :D

Which brings me to my two current cars - one is a project car, the other my daily.

First up, the project car - 1996 Nissan 200SX S14 kouki (yep, 200SX, it's what they're called here in Europe, since we have the SR20DET as the standard engine).

The spec list is pretty long, I guess most of you wouldn't bother to read through it, but in case anyone wants to read it, I'll gladly post it :p

A summary though would be:
* Forged internals; Eagle rods, Wiseco 86mm pistons, ACL Race bearings all over, all studs are ARP, GReddy oil pan
* Ported and polished head, reworked combustion chambers etc, GReddy valve springs, Crower 272 IN/EX cams
* GReddy intake manifold, JECS 1200cc injectors, Bosch 044 fuel pump
* Custom exhaust manifold, Precision SC5857 billet turbo, Tial 44mm wastegate, 3" exhaust
* GReddy Type-M intercooler, Z32 MAF, A'PEXi PowerFC, Audi 115R coil packs
* BC Racing coilovers, then there's braces for struts & chassis, camber arms, stiffer ARB's etc
* Bride mounts & seats, Bride wrapped arm rest & shift boot, Autometer/AEM UEGO gauges

Wheels in the pic above are Work VS-XX's, I also have a set of 18x9.5 Volk CE28Ns

Right now it has just been fitted with a Vertex body kit that needs paint, then putting the new engine setup together. Will be running E85, and it should break the 500 hp goal I've set for it :)

Then there's the car I actually use, haha.

2002 JDM Impreza WRX wagon.

But it's not stock either:
- LHD conversion with full STi interior
- STi EJ25 2.5L engine
- 2007 hawkeye front end conversion

So 270-ish HP in a wagon isn't half bad :)

Do not adjust your monitors. You are seeing hints of purple and brown in the paint. As I've mentioned before, it's Black Cherry. I had a few new pics taken a few days ago. The car is now sitting 1.5 inches lower all around.

Beautiful car. That'll probably be my next in 5 years or so. Is that Cat-back OEM or after-market?

Nice! I'm trying to find a 335i xDrive Coupe for my GF. They're annoyingly hard to find in NYC.

Good job on getting iDrive with yours, btw.

nice. Is it a standard JDM STI wagon, or you've just converted it to STI spec?

Thanks :) It's converted.

Squared: Beautiful cars, love that STI wagon.

Just got new rims on my 2011 WRX. I need coilovers badly :)

Thank you!

And that's a great looking WRX, real good! With a set of coilovers on that baby it'll be perfect :)

I love this picture. The way the gold/black wheels matches the door trim in the background, really makes the blue pop out. Just looks awesome.

dyno of new tune I had done a couple days ago.

Larger turbo showed up yesterday. Should be a pretty big jump in power when it goes on.

My new Z4. BMW UK were offering good incentives as they are phasing out the lower end 6-cyl models in favour of 4-cyl turbos. (still keeping the 35 as a 6-cyl though). No Neogaf plate yet, keeping the current one as its brand new, will swap over next year.

My parents have a 1954 Studebaker that I hope to inherit from them. Only problem is that it's in need of a complete overhaul/restoration. I'm their only child that has the time to restore it, but my siblings have the money and not the time.

It looked something like this when it was new:

I currently drive a 2002 Honda Accord Coupe that badly needs a new paint job or clear coat.

But this is my daily driver. 1993 Shadow VT600C (also called a VLX):

Very nice - always liked that Celica body style. Any chance of you moving to a larger (+1/2) wheel/tire package?
Those are the stock 15" GT wheels; they look really small with the body kit I have on the car. I am currently saving up for some aftermarket 18" rims :D

Very cool. :)

On that note, we had some rainy weather so I decided to take a picture with my phone:

Just upgraded the ignition, added a cold air intake, and a reduction pulley for the super charger. Probably around 205hp now. Pretty good for a mini!
