Here is my 2003 Golf MKIV GT-TDI:

I like that. Clean look.

Same truck as before, although I installed slightly shorter rear shackles since the picture was taken to drop the rear about an inch and a half. Still not quite level, but I haul stuff so I need a little bit of rake. Also installed skid plates for the front differential and transfer case.

I am going back to 17" wheels after I use up the rest of the tread on these 20's first. I just bought the full-size spare (see pictures) in advance since the tire diameters won't be changing (33").

My 2009 335 i Xdrive. The turbo is crazy...way more power than I need to get to/from the office, but I couldn't help myself. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up.

Cool thread. Everyone is making me jealous with their classy $40,000 cars though. Oh well here's mine. It's pretty nice for a poor college student anyways ;)

no pics because I only have a shitty camera phone, but here's the latest dyno run with my baby

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=47eJTFWaJGk&t=0m15s

had a torn inlet, low oil pressure, fucked up tmic fitment, and a bad clutch and still made over 300whp, pretty pleased with it. she's going on the dyno again soon now that everything's been repaired. I want 320+ at the wheels.

What kinda torque and hp does that put out? Just curious how it compares to my car

355HP/325TQ

But heavier than your AWD 335i by about 150lbs, and doesn't feel quite as torquey or powerful as it should. 2007-2009 335s are also pretty underrated as far as power, and since you have the twin-turbo N54 motor, I'd say the favor is yours.

I've seen RWD 335s rip S5s, the AWD will even the score a bit...but again, I do think the advantage may be the BMW's just a bit.

oh yea! heres my 92 ford e150 econoline, not a looker by all means, but its my first vehicle that is mine. My brother who is also my caregiver for my muscular dystrophy, hauls me and my wheelchair around in it. 87,000 mile inline 6 motor was swapped in, and snagged it for a grand. Not bad imo, its my great white haha. Its a damn tank and guzzles gas, but not bad for a low income first car.

hoping to pimp it out with some hella lamps, paintjob and a nice sound system eventually. Definitely looks like a pos compared to most peoples cars in here, but if I'm proud thats all that matters :-)

Good shit my friend. I dig it.

Unless anyone can point me in the direction of a general car advice thread, I might aswell ask here. I am looking at getting a new car (currently rocking a 96 Audi A4). I am looking at either a Honda Accord Euro, Ford Mondeo, Mazda 6 Sport etc. Whats the best car out of that category?

Best in what way?

Out of those, I would easily choose the Accord for quality and reliability.

This might be a rather dumb question, but are cars in the US significantly less expensive compared to Western Europe?

Because when I configure, let's say a Subaru WRX STI in the Netherlands, and configure one on the US-based website, the difference is unbelievable. Are there some hidden costs i'm missing or are cars literally half as expensive over there?

There are some hidden costs (mostly sales tax), but yes, generally cars in the US are cheaper.

Dunno if this counts, but whatever.

Intrepid Cruiser Rotax Max, had it for a few years now. Upgrading to a new Kosmic Kart soon.

There's no point in me posting a picture of my '04 Fiesta.

My wife just bought a new car this weekend. Sportwagen TDI w/ 6spd manual transmission. Her goal was a car with decent storage, great fuel economy, yet is still fun to drive. This seems to fit the bill nicely.

All I have at hand right now is a shitty Instgram shot since I haven't actually taken any proper photos with my camera.

Here's another crappy shot of my current car. Yeah, I know, the front is kind of blah but it's been a nice car. Going for something more fun for the next car but put off that purchase in favor of upgrading my wife's car.

Mazda 6....interior won't be as good as a topped out Accord but it's way more entertaining and it's extremely reliable

I'll join in....

2005 Subaru Legacy 2.5GT. Bought it when it was CPO with 30k in 2007, now it has a mature 78k on the odo. Perrin Intake and some subtle paint work (painted the grille, calipers, foglamp surrounds, engine cover) Tinted headlight enclosures and Fog Lamps. Had plans for much more before kids (such is life....sigh) but a great Daily Driver. Love it.

I always thought Kia had a bad rap, and their cars were ugly. But damn that new Optima design is sexy as hell. Reminds me of audi for some reason.

Surely you've heard this before to make that good of a guess.

Beginning in 2005, Kia focused on the European market, identifying design as its core future growth engine — leading to the 2006 hiring of Schreyer [former Audi Designer] as Chief Design Officer.[6] Schreyer has been central to a complete restyling of Kia's lineup,[9] overseeing design activities at Kia's design centers in Frankfurt, Los Angeles, Tokyo and the Namyang Design Center in Korea.[5]

My mom bought a Forte and they are nice little cars. Love that Tiger nose.

Quality's a bit low, taken with a 3DS camera. 1997 Subaru Outback.

Runs quite well, but has a bunch of minor things that need patching up.

Your car is probably faster than 95% of the cars in this thread.

A guy at work has a turbo charged one and i was surprised when I saw it. The inside is sleek and filled to the brim with options and it got great gas mileage and decent oomph to the engine.
