VW Mk VI GTI 2-door with DSG, 18inch alloy rims. I'll be picking it up directly at the Wolfsburg factory, with factory visit, wellness weekend around and all the shebang![]()

BTW, the plate is genuine
I love that it has Silhouette plastered across it when that cars actual silhouette would induce vomiting in most humans.AqueousTransmission said:![]()

Now I just need to learn how to drive a manual so that I can drive it :P[/QUOTE]

I've decided on the A8 and the BMW 5 series. Is it a wise choice? Remember, i'll be driving in India where top speed doesnt enter the equation, i'm more looking for comfortable driving and luxury.
Any suggestions/recommendations/cautions?
Do you think you father would let you drive it? I know I wouldn't let my kid drive my Porsche (if I had one).Siebzehn50 said:Well its not mine, but my dad just bought this

Strangely I actually learned to drive on a manual but all the cars that I have owned have been automatics so I just haven't driven one for about 10 years. It would probably just take me a bit to get used to again.
Cool persona redeemed?![]()

Where is Subaru-GAF?
That great! I test drove the A6 and it was great. Didnt like the MMI though... Not that iDrive is much better. But I definitely enjoyed driving the BMW 5 series more. It felt much... sportier.blanky said:If you're talking about the newest of each, I've read that the new A8 is very very good. But I think each of those, 7/S/A8, deliver. You should definitely try them all out.
I thought the A6 was very luxurious, so I can only imagine what an A8 would be like. The new one is supposed to be updated looks wise and have many new features. Also, Why do you not like the looks of the BMW? Is it a subjective preference or is there something which you find lacking in them.Zyzyxxz said:India? Damn you must be some baller as hell factory owner!
But to answer your question I really love the A6 interior and I'd assume the A8 would transfer.
Personally I prefer the A6/A8 style but Mercedes would come in second, while BMW's are dead to me now in terms of looks.

I actually liked driving the 5 series best. My plan is to keep the 5 series for myself while the A8 could be more of a family car (when parents/grandparents go out.)
