T1 is a masterpiece, just one of the best sci-fi films ever made. This scene is my favorite, A machine selecting machines to do a job.

My favorite thing about that scene is Dick Miller's character shrugging off the terminator asking for a plasma rifle.

"Just what ya see, pal." Dunno, always makes me chuckle. =P

got a copy of the old audio and muxed it into a blur-ray rip

I just did the same thing. Had already ripped the BD to my HTPC and now I can flip it between the new 5.1 and original mono.

I opened a DJ set with the T1 theme once. Went down well.

T1 & T2 are very different beasts and I like them equally for what they do and the story they tell.
