So how many times is this series (show, comic, and game) going to do the whole 'group has a run in/gets captured by a charismatic dictator who brandishes power over everyone through violence and promises of protection from the outside'? Already had the Governor, season 5 of the show will probably be something to that effect, and now we have Carver. It's a crutch for this series as the premise limits their options.
And on the note of limited options, how long will people stick around if all there is is misery and death?
If that is all we get from the 400 Days characters, that DLC will have been a giant waste.
Why is there even gameplay in Telltale games anymore? If you want me to mash the A button, don't make it so I will lose anyway. And having a prompt come up halfway through the season telling me how to move away from a walker? Come on. There was also a spot where I had control of Clementine for two steps, then the 'game' took over, then I got two more steps, and then lost control again. What the hell is the point of that? There are no more puzzles, all you do is walk around clicking on things until you trigger the next scene. Just remove all gameplay and let me make dialogue decisions.
Troy getting shot in the dick was much more satisfying that Kenny caving Carver's skull in (hell yeah I watched). To quote Kenny, "Man, fuck that guy."
How many times this season will a bunch of adults all look at the 12(?) year old in the room to save them? Terrible storytelling.
Sarah is not autistic, she is just incredibly sheltered so she hasn't grown up and is annoying as fuck. I don't see myself saving her if given the choice at this point (I guess that fulfills Carver's point but knowing this series my choice won't affect her outcome anyway).
