How does VR porn like this actually work? Is it just a 360 camera projection (which would lack depth and also make you puke if you move your head laterally while watching) or is it mocapped models in a proper 3D world?

I don't know about this exact demo, but yes it's just a 360 setup where you can look at whatever you want, like any other YouTube 360 video.. I haven't experienced what you're describing regarding puking.

As someone who owns a Rift and has jerked it to VR porn a few times......VR porn is the real deal. When actresses lean in and whisper shit or stare right at you while shit is going on......it's unreal. Few more years things are gonna get real weird in the porn VR world.

There was an Adult VR festival in Tokyo a few days ago as well; Adult Festa 01.

I'd expect that particular section of the E3 show floor to get larger as the years go on, that or they'll just spin off a separate show just for this. The money is too good and major, more traditional publishers are walking away from E3 to do their own conferences.

I've viewed some VR POV porn on my Gear VR and there were some significant issues with scale. It felt like I was being ridden by a giant, which is one of the few fetishes I don't have.

I am more curious about interactive VR porn though, since I do want to get an HTC Vive soon and I'm sure there are a ton of ways you could put those motion controllers to use.

I'm not ashamed to admit this is one of the main reasons I've thought about getting a VR headset thus far. Tempted to get gear VR or even google cardboard just to get the experience.
