So good. But the fact that Marvel and the director had a clash and Marvel demanded that the running time should be 2 hours and not 2 hours 20 minutes make me warry. As I think the trailer and the director's idea for the movie may be very good, but the version we will see may be a bit of a hack job.

Looks nice enough, really loved the first one and this one seems bigger in scope and treat.

But somehow I find this trailers a little on the boring side, will watch week one though.

We'll have to see but I'm leaning towards being fine with that. The first one dragged on a bit too much so this one being leaner might work in its favor.

Unsubstantiated rumors.

Fuck yes, they god a good mix of dark ages and Kirby Thor,

Looks like Uroc at the end,

Looks great. I hope we get more cosmic awesomeness as this is supposed to be a leap frog to the cosmic side.

A rumor. A bad one at that.

That looks even worse than I expected it to. I feel like Natalie Portman's shame in being involved with this comes through in her line delivery.

Is it weird that I think Hemsworth is just as good in his role as Thor as RDR is in his role as Iron Man? They both have completely owned that character.

That's not weird at all. He's like RDJ and Heath Ledger in their roles where it's hard to imagine anyone else doing it. I don't think everyone has been casted perfectly but the only miscast that stands out is Captain America. I'm still not buying that one for some reason.

Loki keeps stealing Thor's screenpresence, he's so more charismatic than Chris Hemsworth, who himself is charismatic beyond belief.

Ancient darkness, from the time before the universe was born...and it's dark elves? Lmao... This kind of set up requires Lovecraftian monstrocities or some other truly awe-inspiring beings, not pale dudes with pointy ears. So ridiculous.

To me both Captain America and Black Widow are miscast. Emily Blunt is Black Widow, pure and simple.

Oh, if they set it up right with this villain, it is coming. If they do Surtur and Beta Ray Bill in the third one, it will be awesome.

I am excited for this one. I really enjoyed the first, and Hemsworth and Hiddleston are great in their roles. I am also excited to see what Alan Taylor can pull off when he has a lot of money and is not on a television budget.

The big question mark is how will this do at the box office. The first did well, but will this one see an Avengers bump like Iron Man 3 did? And the November release will also be hard to predict. Most super hero movies open in the summer. And then Captain America: Winter Soldier is going to open in April. Guess Marvel is seeing if they can open their movies anytime of the year and still make bank.

Looks like Marvel have stopped being cheap. Visually this looks like a step above anything they have done.

London looks awful as back drop for this character though.

Pffft Lovecraft. I would like to see Cthullu forge a sword using a whole galaxy.

Loved the original Thor, it had an all star cast and the vision of Asgard looks so freakin awesome! Glad it's continuing in this film: Thor, Loki and Odin in one film is too much to handle!

Trailer looked great, this is my most anticipated movie of the year!

The first one I actually didn't enjoy that much. In theory I quite like how it was a small story focused on Thor redeeming himself, but something about so much of it being set in that small desert town felt dull to me.

This one looks like it already scales the scope up significantly, so I'm looking forward to it

Hyped indeed! I really enjoyed the first Thor film and I thought the casting was spot on throughout.

Here's to more Idris and Jaimie screentime.

The small town setting is indeed dull but we get to see Thor adjusting to the human world and it had some funny bits with him to boot.

Scale here is definitely higher, i wonder if it's budget will be anything near the Iron Man budget.
