Lots of praise for this one, what is it exactly ? Rythme game?
It's like a possessed version of Guitar Hero that wants to kill you by consuming your soul

I just watched the first 15 minutes of this game. Is it just me or were those 15 minutes rather boring? Every now and then you have to jump, slide or hold and the rest of the time it was just watching the bug riding the track. Music wasn't very exciting, too. Basically only some beats. Am I missing something? Can someone explain this to me? This is no hate or the like, I just don't get all the positive reactions in here about this game although I can imagine that it is very impressive in VR at least.
Coming May 18th in Australia, its up on the eShop

Dammit, this is probably going to be the first of many Switch double dips for me. This game was pretty mind blowing in PSVR. Also, I thought I'd never beat it until I played it in VR. Got way easier after that. I can't remember why I played it outside of VR for a while...
This game ROCKS
60fps
720p undocked
1080p Docked (apparently)

So is this best reserved for VR or is it a great game regardless?

Why is it easier in VR?
Only played the demo at a friend's which blew me away. It's actually the one game that sold me on VR, got my own set later. Still need to buy the full version.

That ... is actually a pretty good description.
Have fun Switch buyers, I loved the atmosphere but I found it to be a real challenge I couldn't surpass #whitestwhitemanalive
Not surprised, it's legitimately one of the well optimized games I've ever played on PC and runs 4k60 on a pro.60fps

Why is it easier in VR?
I have a hard time explaining it or even recognizing the technical reason, but I think there's a bit of a difference in input lag? I'm sure someone more clever on those details could explain it better. All I know is I had similar feelings regarding the difficulty of Thumper that I'm currently experiencing with Tumbleseed (this game is good but I'm never going to be able to beat it) until I tried it in VR. That's when I got in the zone.
Instead of normal hand eye coordination, you have additional spacial awareness. Seeing the walls crash towards you is dramatically more impactful in VR, wich makes it easier to see what is coming.
It's an input lag thing.
This might be comparable though if they calibrate it properly to the Switch's display
So is this a horror game? I'm confused.
