Chelsea Wolfe's new album is really good. I was also surprised to not see it on many lists.

On that tip, even though the Depeche Mode and Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark albums weren't stellar, the Pet Shop Boys' Electric was totally rad. A bit distressing to not see it pop up where I expected it might.
