Is Marcus Anthony decent? I refuse to believe all hulking muscled freaks are automatically rubbish.

No idea, I don't watch OVW, but he seems better than Mason Ryan at least;

I hope WWE remembers that they can have their top guys be heels too...

Yeah, not likely - while Punk's merchandise is selling, he'll be a face. Hopefully not too much in the vein of John Cena's superman bullshit, but still a face.

On the contrary I missed many Goldberg and Lesnar matches.

And Batista in all his glory.
Batista
Despite the love we all have for Brotista he was equally as irritating as Cena back in the day, he was the Smackdown equivalent and rarely left the main event scene, i'll never forget the horror in 2009 when Smackdown had been really entertaining over the spring and summer with a new "smackdown 6" putting on great matches every week only for Batista to return and immediately the shows quality decreased.

Goldberg had a very short run now I think about it and most of it was spent with HHH anyway.

Yeah, but Punk's rise to stardom changed that plan.

It's scary to me how true this probably is, without Punk making the main event jump Cena would probably still be holding the belt right now (with ADR sprinkled in at some point), shades of 2007 when Raw just didn't have enough main event talent so they left the belt on Cena.

Would it really make sense for Rock to simply win against Cena? Survivor Series proved that The Rock can still wrestle but year after year Cena has always been on top of the brand. And it has been like this since for SEVEN YEARS. Do they simply just want Rock to bury a man like Cena after being on that level for so many matches? Knowing Rock's history of putting people over I wouldn't be surprised if Cena comes out victorious.

Cena is winning it is clear as it can be prepare yourself to rise above the hate

Just watched Smackdown and thought it was pretty good but I did fast-forward through a couple matches. D-bry stole the show as usual. AJ looked so hot.

That was actually a pretty solid promo from Cody... stuff like this would work better on TV in getting people over...

Promos...getting people over? What's thi nonsense?

Only point at the Wrestemania sign, farting, and being John Cena can get someone over. Anything else is pointless and has never worked in the history of wrestling.

The only thing promos are good for are leading to the night's main event tag team match, playa.

In an interview with Wrestlecast, Hulk Hogan spoke very highly of Magnus based on the latter's recent work in the tag team ranks with Samoa Joe.

"Nick's got something. He's really come on in the last month with Samoa Joe, since they teamed up. I've watched him before but he didn't really poke his head up.

"But all of a sudden, with the Joe thing, he started talking with Joe. Joe came at him like a tough guy and Magnus stood up to him and said 'I'll take care of my s**t, you take care of yours'. It showed that little bit of fire that I hadn't seen. Then in the ring, he was really aggressive. I think there is something there.

"We definitely need to pay a lot of attention to him. He definitely, without a push and without any help, he is starting to shine through."

Yeah, Batista was worse than Cena at one point. It wasn't until Brotista that he became watchable imo.
