I don't dislike him personally, his obsession with being in the spotlight and the centre of attention at the cost of other, more deserving wrestlers is what annoys me. I was a fan of his even despite his history of burying guys and using his pull to put himself over, I was a fan right up until this year. I really enjoyed his WM match, not a problem, but when he took over Punk's breakout story (which, had they full taken advantage of it, legitimately could have turned him into a megastar as big as Stone Cold, not kidding.) to make it all about himself, that was enough for me.
If he didn't insist on feeding his ego constantly and dominating everything he appears on, I would have no problem with him. He's a good talent (a solid wrestler, though a loooong way from the level he thinks he is, and good on the mic as a heel) and he seems to have a good head for the business backstage.
But once he gets in front of a camera, all that goes out the window and he goes into full Hogan level spotlight hogging and burying.
As long as he's off the show itself and working backstage, I haven't a single problem with him. He definitely is more in touch than Vince, and he should do a good job managing the company's interests ONCE he has fully retired from any on screen appearances.
Until then...
