...I really do not understand why Donald Trump chickened out from a self-serving practical standpoint.

Sanders was hardly going to school him.

Because he's courting Bernie Bros that would side with Trump in the GE if Bernie doesn't get the nom. A debate that highlights the sharp contrast between the two, in which Bernie goes hard on Trump and/or Trump would go hard on Bernie, makes that less likely. By entertaining the notion of a debate, but withdrawing it on the grounds that Crooked Hillary and the corrupt DNC is stealing the nomination from him, he gets to bait those Bernie supporters into thinking he's on their side.

Disagreed, but when Sanders shows the major differences between himself and Trump like climate change, tax breaks for the rich, minimum wage, and insulting Mexicans and Muslims? Wouldn't exactly help Trump getting Bernie's voters. This is why a Bernie v Sanders debate would have been actually better for Hillary.

Trump will have (and be willing to use) plenty to attack Hillary with in their debates which will help balance out and steer away from his weaknesses, but trying to play nice with Sanders while Sanders goes full out against him? Not good at all for Trump and he probably realized this.

This is what they should have the robot read in Disney's Hall of Presidents.

I can't help but laugh at how Bernie got trolled into this nonsense.

Snubbed by Hilary. Then snubbed by Trump. He's not enough of a contender for anyone to bother debating. Sad!

If the drama over the on-again, off-again Trump-Sanders debate was the first skirmish of the Clinton-Trump general election battle, you can mark Mrs Clinton down as the winner.

While Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump danced around the prospect of an unprecedented 1 v 2 pre-convention showdown, the former secretary of state didn't take the bait and held her tongue.

Instead Mr Sanders comes off as a bit desperate, looking for any opportunity to take a moment in the spotlight, even if it would benefit the Republicans and undermine Democratic unity efforts.

And Mr Trump was put in the unusual position of having to claim the event - which would have been compelling television that attracted an audience of tens of millions - was "inappropriate".

Ive posted that video before and it gets dismissed every time lol.

Folks arent interested in actual visual evidence of her lies.

It's funny how bad she is at lying. You can almost see the gears turning in her head, and her embarassment while she tries to think of a way out.

On the plus side it means she's not necessarily a sociopath. Other than that, well, at least she's not Trump I guess. If she actually wins the election she should thank him for making her look "good" by comparison...
