This is why Dragonball > Dragonball Z.
I'm probably the only DB/Z fan that enjoyed the series all the way through til completion (and enjoyed GT to an extent though if I wouldn't mind GT being remade with a new storyline. None of that Black Star Dragonball crap) or at least it feels like it when I see these threads.
I didn't realize until a year ago or so that Goku never really killed anyone in DBZ himself til Buu. Kinda funny thinking about that now lol.
I also hope Teamfourstar goes to the kid Buu Saga, wouldn't mind seeing how they handle it.![]()
The History of Trunks was damn good. Best version of Gohan, too
This is not One Piece though. The D

How on earth did he knock up Bulma without killing her anyway?
I actually enjoyed the whole series with the exception of GT. GT was garbage.
My only issue with Buu saga was the change of focus to Goku at the end. Like, I enjoyed the ending but it should have been Gohan and someone else who finished off Kid Buu.
He's still better than Krillin.
Understandable and I agree to an extent however I did enjoy the stuff with Vegeta while Goku was fighting Buu. It was a fantastic scene imo for people who have watched it since the start of DBZ at least.
He was nice to her.
what did Bulma see in Vegeta anyway?
He was nice to her.
Now that's the real question. How did that little bald guy hook up with the hot robot?
But girls don't like nice guys.
It is known.
He did surpass Vegeta in raw power but Vegeta outclassed him in intelligence.
Krillin only goes for chicks with major issues.
He was able to get her because every guy with half a brain was staying faaaaaaaaaar away from that.
A fembot who basically orchestrated the holocaust while in a bonnie/clyde relationship with her brother.
Nope, no issues there.
DBZ should have ended after the Frieza saga. All this SSJ 2, 3, and 4 bs watered down the series.

Cell was a better more fleshed out villain than Frieza.

. Why didn't Piccolo kill Cell when he had the chance? Or Vegeta? Why didn't the androids hide? So much nonsensical jobbing to pad out the story and the whole SSJ2 thing lost its impact after the Frieza arc.
No because broly
" but child wonder and adventure and..."
Thats neat, anime hulk.
Also sick ass fights, also fusion.
Dragon ball does have Arale Nomaki , so thats a plus.
...let's spend at least 15 epiaodes unlocking Gohan's hidden potential they always showed from the start, only to have him be absorbed quickly and then killed later with the Earth explosion so he can't even help in the final battle.
To me, the Saiyan, Namek and Frieza sagas were the best.
Cell used Taiyoken (Solar Flare) on Piccolo and escaped.
Vegeta is pretty much Cell's ally in the arc if you think about it, he wants him to be powered up he can defeat him at his greatest power. He even tried to help find the androids (16 and 18 were in hiding, btw) so Cell could attain his perfect form. This is the same Vegeta that wanted Freeza to attain his final form because he thought he could beat him even then. Vegeta's hubris is always his downfall, in the Android/Cell arc his hubris was pretty much what propelled Cell's power ups.
That's because the saga is a real mess. So inconsistent with power levels, and story focus. And yet so many people love it for some reason. I mean I get that it tells a lot of story post-Cell saga, but it's so inconsistent in it's focus and delivery. Let's spend all this time focusing on Gohan, let's have Goku decide not to kill Buu to give his sons a chance to carry the torch, and let's spend at least 15 epiaodes unlocking Gohan's hidden potential they always showed from the start, only to have him be absorbed quickly and then killed later with the Earth explosion so he can't even help in the final battle.

Him going back to the future and bodying the Androids and Cell is still a classic episode though.
Trunks was crucial for the defeat of Cell, him being mortally wounded in front of Vegeta set him off and allowed for Vegeta to counter attack cell while he was fighting Gohan. If it wasn't for Trunks, Cell would have never been beaten.
Up until then, he didn't do much aside from crying, going ascended with Vegeta was cool and all but meh. History of Trunks was pretty damn good though.
He's still better than Krillin.
I though people made fun of Yamcha, not Krillin. Did I miss something?
I see what you guys are saying... But he came at dudes with a sword so he is my favorite
But he had the coolest hair!
