I have both my xbox one and 360 hooked up to TV using HDMI. My TV speakers are now blown out. I'm not an audio guy so I don't know what to do now. I have some old PC speakers and also a Jambox. Is there a way to hook up the xbox one or 360 to those speakers. I just want a cheap solution. Can anyone recommend a solution?

On topic if your TV if your TV has a 3.5 mm input for headphones you could hook up a set of PC speakers.

Or get a Soundplate, which will sound considerably better then the speakers of your TV did

Plug in the computer speakers into the back for now. Look for a port with a headphone shape over it or a green tinted port. Use that until you can bring the tv in for repairs or go buy a new one altogether if you can afford it.
It says in the OP that they are looking for a cheap solution and hoping to use equipment they already have.

When my speakers burned out on my element tv the entire sound board was fried. Meaning, I couldn't even use external speakers.

I've never opened a TV before but... open it, snip out the old speakers and just hotwire whatever cheap new ones you can find in there? Speakers always have just 2 wires to them, not genius work. Opening the TV though, eh, cant advise you there. Definitely read up but this could possibly be a great solution
Does it have DVI or VGA on the back (or possibly both)?

Only thing to that is(well I remember it was for crt) the monitors have so much memory electricity that it's dangerous to do it if you're not a professional.

Option 1: Use the headsets for audio on the XB1 & X360.
Option 2: If you have the new XB1 controller with the 3.5mm headphone jack, plug the PC speakers into the controller. If you have the old controller, you can get the Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter.

Then you can just plug in whatever (headphones, Pc speakers) into that 3.5mm female jack.

You could Frankenstein together a bunch of adapters/cables (make sure you check the pin counts on the monitor/cables if you do this). This will be pretty cheap, but also not ideal (there are more expensive and better solutions).
HDMI to VGA + 3.5mm:

Keep in mind that there will be a loss in image quality.
If you can afford another cheap monitor that might be the better option (if buying a new one ensure there is an audio out).

It's still a valid option. Besides, pointing out the fact that most TV's have a headphone jack is really the only answer to this thread and that answer was given immediately, multiple times. might as well offer some other suggestions. Besides, bars aren't that expensive any more.
