Honestly, I think at this point it has just come time to get actual human mods involved. The community is small enough now that even just a small handful of trolls can massively derail things. Like right now there's a single account just spamming X to open the menu every 3 seconds. Actual moderators would solve a lot of the stream's problems.

The X spam is actually helpful here to buffer inputs. However, the endless supply of bots is ridiculous (there were at least 5 different unown accounts, lots of "don't_let_x_evolve" accounts, and various versions of all numbers.

Yeah, the trolls have become very blatant. I'm not sure if the fact that there seems to be new "don't evolve" accounts every time I watch the stream means they're getting banned or not.

I'm pretty sure they are, but it requires twitch to investigate reports for each account. A human mod would be able to respond to that stuff a lot faster. Personally, I think accounts should be required to watch for a certain amount of time before being able to input commands. They're not getting many new players either way.
 
HOLY SHIT YESSS WE EVOLVED ROSELIA! We used a random rare candy at a time where there were apparently no trolls around! SUCCESS!

Edit: Also, it's impossible for budew to learn sludge bomb, giga drain, or energy ball at this point without using a TM so don't count on it being useful. Shinx gets knocked out extremely quickly. Bronzor is useless on this Jupiter fight and will likely get lost in the ensuing PC shuffle. Zubat is never evolving to Crobat.

Roselia must learn petal dance or at least avoid forgetting absorb. It's ironic that apathy and boredom are probably what allowed budew to evolve, which makes the run a lot more interesting. Still, this team is really weak and will likely need a PC dump before too long.

So overly pessimistic. There are trainers all over, and unlike with getting Togepi, getting Eevee is not mandatory. If we run out of cash, we move on with Togepi, no big deal. The likelihood of running out of cash before we get to the daycare though is very low though.

We can teach it cut or bullet seed immediately. Later on there are TMs for Solarbeam, Energy Ball, and Giga Drain. It learns toxic at 37 and petal dance at 40. Don't worry so much.

Petal Dance is a grass type outrage. It's probably the best possible move we could teach to it, and over 3x more powerful than absorb. Also, Roserade is one of the strongest grass types in existence. Even with a crappy moveset it's not to be underestimated.

Petal Dance is a grass type outrage. It's probably the best possible move we could teach to it, and over 3x more powerful than absorb. Also, Roserade is one of the strongest grass types in existence. Even with a crappy moveset it's not to be underestimated.

Don't get me wrong, I want us to keep her and bronzor. I'm just very concerned about the possibility of us having a team that literally cannot progress. We're in much better shape than we were yesterday, though.
 
Petal Dance was 90BP in platinum, we would be better off with Energy Ball, but it's the second best choice. Also sludge bomb would be nice.

Well next gym is Fighting, which shouldnt be too much of a problem due to 2 poison types and a psychic type on our team.

After that we have a Water gym, which Shinx and Roselia should stomp easily.

6th is the Steel gym, which might pose some problems, but at that point we might have a new useful team member to make it easier. Going off our core team right now, Roselia (who could be roserade at that point) will help a lot since most steel types in their gym share a rock/ground type as well. Shinx does neutral damage vs most of them, but might struggle cause of high defenses. And Bronzor should be able to tank anything they throw it, and throw it back much stronger because it's a special attacker. This gym shouldn't be too tough.

Then we have another Galactic Boss to deal with; this one has a Croagunk as his ace which Bronzor laughs at.

7th gym is Ice, but should be pretty easy if we can get gyro ball (level 35) or flash cannon (6th gym TM) on Bronzor.

After that we have tons of galactic stuff with some very long dungeons to deal with. This should grind up our team like crazy (and I imagine we'll have a mostly complete team by then), but will probably hold us up for a long time. So basically, don't worry too much until we get to this point. Our team is plenty equipped to deal with the next few gyms with just Roselia, Shinx, and Bronzor.

Alright thanks. I really hope we can get a flareon since we've never had a high level fire type.
 
It is good to see this is still going. Honestly I thought after Emerald this would be all but over. I am pretty sure all the other streams are dead now. I remember there was a blue run and a crystal run a while back. So seeing there still about 3000 people playing is pretty cool considering this started back in February.

I think Energy Ball is on a post game route. We should be able to get Giga Drain, Sludge Bomb and Shadow Ball though.
