Yeah, Bidoof has the best moveset on our whole team right now.
They did during the downtime before Pokemon Emerald. It had an infinite ball catcher active so that the they wouldn't game over instantly.

Totally recreating the A-team in OR/AS.
WHOOPS. I used the FR thread as a template and thought I removed all references to the randomizer. Fixed.
They have played both the original and the gen 3 version during the intermissions before.
Surf is actually surprisingly far off. We need to clear both the 3rd and 4th gyms, then go...somewhere...to get the secret potion from Cynthia, and then take it back to the route directly north of Solaceon to cure the Psyduck blocking the path. We then go through that route (which will be hell because its the fog one) and at the end we reach a small town with a galactic boss battle. Once we beat the boss we get surf from cynthia.

The DS emulator is most probably DSmume with some sort of program that takes the chat inputs as commands. Probably same way with the GBA games too. Regular emulator using a special program to convert the commands.
As for the 3DS emulator, there's none yet.
Basically this. Although even without a 3DS emulator, there are ways for the streamer to make TPP work on an actual 3DS. Though it'd probably be wise for him to ask Nintendo's permission before attempting to stream XY like that.

Yeah it would probably require the use of a devkit or something like that unless there's another way to stream video output of a regular 3DS of which I'm unaware.

So how much progress was made since yesterday?
There are websites that mod 3DS's to do video out. You could probably mod the controls to take computer inputs too if you knew what you were doing.

FINALLY finished Maylene's gym puzzle after hours of trying. Now let's not lose...
Cause the thread title still fits. I thought we might've been switching thread titles too often the last few runs, so I've purposely tried not to suggest any new ones.
I did consider TTP Platinum: Return of The False Prophet but thought it'd be best not to force that title onto our new Flareon.
I've liked this run a lot though, battles have been so intense.

Don't worry, Lucario kicked our ass.
A series of unfortunate switches lead to failure. We' wont be fighting her again for another few hours, her stupid gym puzzle takes so damn long.

How many more did she have after Lucario?
At least Roselia is finally free of the Sticky Barb. Hopefully she'll be more useful this next match now.
She has Meditite, Machoke and Lucario. We got her to her last Pokemon but Bronzor and Golbat were too weak at that point to finish the deal.

At least Shinx should be ready after we're done. What level is she now?
I'm pretty sure if had just spammed air cutter from the beginning we woulda won. Based off astonish's damage air cutter will probably 1hko meditite and 2 or 3hko machoke. The only problem is we don't know if lucario's drain punch healing will be too much for us to outdamage with the rest of the team.

That Lucario is pretty strong. Air Cutter crit and took off less than a third of its health. Plus it has Drain Punch. I don't know if we can do it.

Flareon learns Fire Fang at level 43, but that's a bit too far for now.
I think our best shot is to use the Fire Blast TM, but that might be a little hard. There's also the risk we might teach it to Togepi
