I'm probably looking forward to the Travis Browne fight the most, just cuz I need another Hawaii fighter to root for with BJ retired and Kendall sucking.
I had high hopes for him a few years back.

I feel like Rashad is building up for a "my head wasn't in the right place" excuse after this fight. My ex-gym was against me, the UFC was against me, Dana was against me etc.
It's true.You love some ProElite, don't lie.
They gave him good fights too, had opportunity to work up the division slowly, but he said himself, he blew it by partying too much. It's too bad.I had high hopes for him a few years back.
It's true.
He ain't lying.
Anderson? You mean the guy that got beat up by Chael Sonnen for 5 rounds before pulling a miracle out of his ass?
gravedigger gonna digI'm probably looking forward to the Travis Browne fight the most, just cuz I need another Hawaii fighter to root for with BJ retired and Kendall sucking.
He might not be lying, but he is wrong.
Ah, Jesus. Are you kidding me right now? Submitting a guy that you planned on submitting the entire time (walking out in a jiu-jitsu gi, telling Big Nog that he would submit him... etc.) is a miraculous bit of luck? Give me a break.
Jon Jones is slowly creeping up the P4P list, for sure, but he still hasn't accomplished as much as Anderson in the sport. No one has. Jon very well might surpass him one day, but he's just beginning his reign at the moment.
Yea Anderson played the get my ass beat for 4 1/2 rounds then submit him trick. That Anderson Silva always one step ahead. I'm sure that was his gameplan the whole time.
Hilarious seeing former Anderson nuthuggers bring up the Chael fight as a negative. Guess there's only room for one bandwagon fanbase in MMA.

It's the "You're only as good as your last fight" mentality. It's pretty much anywhere and everywhere MMA discussions happen.Hilarious seeing former Anderson nuthuggers bring up the Chael fight as a negative. Guess there's only room for one bandwagon fanbase in MMA.
Not that I'm saying his plan was to get beat down for most of the fight but I was surprised to see that him saying his plan was to tap Chael wasn't bullshit. In the "Like Water" documentary you see him telling it to Big Nog.
I do it all the time.Plywood is such a Ninja editor.
Jon Jones is a voice of a new generation. Anderson's time has passed.
I don't care what you guys say, I'd take Bones over Anderson at 205 all day even if he does lose to Rashad this weekend.

Which is why Conduit is a point master, decision fighter.
I'm not saying anything either, but Chael's weakness has been getting subbed, so it's not that weird to me that Andy would be saying that was his gameplan. But iirc even in later rounds he was throwing kicks and jumping right into Chael's td range. But not saying he intended for it to work out that way; that is too crazy for me.Not that I'm saying his plan was to get beat down for most of the fight but I was surprised to see that him saying his plan was to tap Chael wasn't bullshit. How will Rashad do against Anderson once Bones sends him down to 185?

Did JBJ walk in on Rashad getting busy with one of the ring girls?Guys, Jones and Shad are both fucking cry babies. Did we already forget "YOU RUINED MY SPECIAL NIGHT" and "WHY ARE YOU INTERRUPTING ME!"

I would also take Jones over Andy at this point in their careers. Shit, when was the last time we saw Andy fight anyway?

He wasn't saying it publically, after the fight he said that was his plan and thats why he wore the gi for his entrance. I figured it was bullshit and an excuse since he was getting dominated on the ground but in a training session thats shown in Like Water he tells Nog he is going to tap him to which Nog replies "no, you are going to knock him out"
That clip was also shown before the fight.
Ya, I believed him that it was his game plan to sub him. But if you go with that, it implies he planned on getting taken down too. Cuz he certainly wasn't going to take Chael down. Next step is he planned to be on his back getting gnped to pull out a sub when Chael made a mistake. He wasn't saying it publically, after the fight he said that was his plan and thats why he wore the gi for his entrance. He was just throwing punches to set up the takedown.Next you're going to tell me Anderson was pulling his punches standing so he didn't accidentally knock him out instead.
C'mon son.

Anderson getting outstruck on the feet was part of his brilliant gameplan too.
in other news, Lebron James, a front-runner more famous than our very own Frontrunner Scooter, has went to twitter to voice his support for JBJ.
No one can turn chicken shit into chicken salad like Brock. No one. That's what the crap coaches do. Good coaches like Tito, Pulver, Serra and even Brock (when he was there) did help with actual coaching. Rampage didn't do anything for his team except provide bad cornering (GET UP ABE!).
Look Natural, it's pretty obvious the reason you don't like Rashad is because of his race. Just come out and say it buddy.![]()

UFC PPVs are no longer hot. Totally overdone.
