Yeah. Keep bringing up a fight that he won via comeback as the reason why he's not the GOAT, and continue calling Jon Jones the greatest ever when he's only been champ for a year.

Who called Jones the GOAT? Nobody, that's who. What's being discussed is whether he should get the nod as the best P4P fighter right now.

It's okay if Jones is considered the best fighter right now, as it wouldn't take anything away from Anderson's legacy in the slightest.

That being said, Anderson better be careful not to fall into the Fedor trap of being satisfied and getting lazy/unmotivated.

He's undefeated in his UFC career (6 years, 14 wins, 9 title defenses) and has taken out a who's who list of top contenders and made defending the belt look easy. He's also brought out some of the most spectacular knockouts and general bad-assery in MMA history.

I'm a bit of Jones stan for his work in the ring alone, but I definitely wouldn't mind seeing Evans beat his ass with all things outside of the ring being considered...I'm just not sure it will happen. If anybody can beat Jones right now, it's Rashad, I don't think anybody else really has a shot.

People say this for everyone, against every fighter.

I got into arguments for month with people saying this same thing about Machida being the only person that could beat him, and he got absolutely embarrassed. People like to downplay reach advantage, but it's a really big factor. Obviously you need skill to go with it, but he has that.

Only person that might stand a chance, and I've felt this way since Jones destroyed Rua for the title, is Hendo. Hendo has never been knocked out and I don't recall him ever actually being rocked once in a fight. He could stand there and take all that punishment and wait for the perfect opportunity to capitalize, which is someone other fighters don't have the luxury of.

Other than that, Jones is going to be king for a long time. Only person that can stop him is himself.

Yeah but personally, I think it's true because Rashad has a mental advantage that none of Jones' previous opponents had. He knows exactly what he has to do to beat Jones. He's done it before in practice. I'm sure Jones knows what he has to do against Rashad too, but that puts them on an even field, at least from the mental standpoint

Physically, Jon is a freak but Rashad is quick at least. He might not be the favorite but he has a shot I think
