2 British submariners reportedly asked Theresa May to make it easier to download porn while at sea.

May reportedly spoke with the submariners about improving day-to-day life while at sea. They raised the issue of poor internet bandwidth. May replied that it was something "we can certainly look into improving."
"Thank you," one of the submariners said, according to The Times, before his friend offered an explanation that may have gone too far.
"The problem is we can't download any porn," the seaman explained. "We have to take it with us on our hard drives."

May didn't answer the question either, I wonder if the Great British Firewall will now be extended to all British ships, planes etc?

It's not easy being the nuclear deterrent. The soviets gave their submersible doomsday devices a gym and swimming pool to that end though that was more of a 'We need to make this ship bigger to fit more nukes but hey look at all this spare room we now have!' than them being nice. Maybe May could put porn libraries in every nuclear sub.

They can make jokes about busses crashing on Twitter without being arrested, don't have a special board of government officials arbitrarily classifying and censoring the movies and videogames their adults are permitted to experience, are allowed to film themselves squirting/facesitting/spanking each other and legally sell that content to other consenting adults should they so choose; and also, by the way, their internet isn't censored.

But hey, as long as UK citizens can still show the odd boob and swear anarchically on our glorious BBC shows that we watch on TVs that we need licences to legally operate (£147 or $191 USD every year); we're clearly still ever so much better than those awful Yanks.
