I worked briefly as an translator but only in text. Holy crap, that poor interpretor. He's translating what could be a historical moment with the entire world watching and the Russian is a complete motormouth that can't stay with a train of thought for 2 seconds.

I think he talks so much because he's scared. He knows he doesn't have good arguments and tries to hide that by jumping from thought to thought.

He knows Putin is watching and is giving his best, because his ass is gonna be on fire if he doesn't represents the russion federation the way Putin told him to.

He seriously just referred to fucking Grenada. Newsflash Russia - that was 30 years ago.

The USSR invasion of Afghanistan is more recent than that.

If this translator was paid by the word he could retire on this guys statements alone. :P

here's a picture of the translator :

No, the US is clearly trying to encircle Japan and Operation Barbarosa wasn't aimed at USSR also.
I'm sorry, but you're wrong, big part of the pacific pivot was tightening the relationship with China, and by any measure - diplomatic, economic, military, the relationship between the countries are the best they've ever been.

"US media is biased!" Jeez, this really is a forum level argument.
Are you saying the US media isn't biased? Why do you think the western media hasn't been covering the shady activity the new Ukraine government has been up to? Because that government is favourable for the west.

For jokes can we get a russian interpretation of the US speaker?

Pacific pivot?

Though Chinese/US relations are pretty strong, regardless. Improving since the 70s and Deng though modern Chinese policy makers are starting to get wary with how much China is starting to resemble the US.

Haven't you seen any clips of how the Russian media goes on about revenge for Poltava whenever any of the Swedish politicians say anything anti-russian? :lol

Do you have any examples to back up your statement?

I agree. Russia has already invaded Ukraine. It may just be a small region of it but they have. All we'll do are sanctions and strengthen our bases in Europe.

Yup, this is my guess. We will puff our chest out talk tough and ultimately end up saying through actions that Crimera (sp) is the price of Putin not intervening in Kiev.

The thing is, this region is critical to the economy of the Ukraine as it hosts a lot of oil pipeline from the Middle East to Europe. Oil companies built it through the Ukraine to avoid Russia...now Russia has it.

Putin knew sanctions was coming here. This was not a surprise. He was willing to pay the price for that. He also knows that we aren't going to put boots on the ground in the Ukraine.

This is going to get worse.

I'm talking about your assertion that the US media is deliberately ignoring any "shady" dealings of the interim Ukrainian government because they're biased.
