Honestly reason why I think they are not going to announce Phoenix Wright and Rocket Raccoon because they posted the new art which is not included those two characters so it led me to think that it will be only two characters announcement.

LOL @ edgy Wesker haha. Also, DMC themed teams(Dante+Vergil at least) are going to be absolutely fucking terrible in this game if the netcode does not improve substantially. Killing Trish now will be an exercise in patience that will annoy the even the Buddha. Having to deal with Dante and then Vergil(or vice versa) is going to cause heart attacks. Shit is gonna be terrible lol. I'm gonna have to cheapen up hardcore as fuck.

Not bitter or anything, but I'm just saying it like it is. Popular opinion already goes crazy over how "OP" Dante is. Adding Vergil and buffing Trish when she is terrifyingly good at being lame is just dangerous haha.

I haven't seen anything about Iron Fist that would make him a good anchor at all outside of possibly being able to self-combo after his air throw (which we haven't seen but I am assuming this since he can self-OTG after hard knockdown).
No air moves/specials
No mobility in the air
No real high/low mix ups outside of an overhead
No cross ups or right/lefts
About average normals in terms of priority
Punch rush hyper doesn't travel fast enough to punish someone mid screen away like Bionic Arm. It's more similar to Mach Speed.
No clutch moves/counters that he can use to get out of a pressure situation
No spammable hypers or utility hypers that he can burn meter with at the end of a match
Right now he appears to be an excellent character on a Phoenix team as he does an absurd amount of meterless damage (probably highest in the game). With the right assist he should be a staple on a Phoenix team especially with his meter building stance (however that works). Stuff like high damage output without meter and assists is something that one wants on a Phoenix team. LOL @ using X factor with a character who can take half health of Hulk without using meter on a day -20 combo.

Not saying any of that is reasonable based off what you guys, as DMC fans, listed as his movelist. Just knowing how the sheathed-sword stuff normally works in games, he doesn't have some of those normal qualities such characters in games usually have.
I'm sure I'll appreciate him more / differently as time goes on, though.

Ok now I am NOT saying that UMVC3 NEEDS a 4th DMC character so don't get fucking salty over what I have to say.
Nero and Lady would both be excellent character additions to MVC3. If Trish was replaced with Lady or if Vergil replaced with Nero (blasphemous but let's just go with the flow here) then the roster wouldn't be bad at all.
Lady is far more agile than someone like Chris she is constantly somersaulting all over the place while shooting in all directions. She has a Jill like Somersault move with SMGs, plus she can rappel around the battlefield with Kalina Ann or pull someone in. Plus she has a bike she can incorporate into her movelist. Not to mention her numerous firearm weapons and one that hasn't been used yet in MVC3... the Spiral. It's an anti-tank gun that reflects bullets off of walls and something that would be pretty bad ass in the game if it was incorporated. Plus grenade/mine traps. Only problem with Lady is that you have to try REALLY hard to differentiate her from the other gun characters in the game like Jill, Deadpool, Chris and even Dante who uses weapons of Lady.
Nero would be much more interesting that Lady. He would be the first DMC character to have command throws in his Buster. He can get around the screen with Devil Bringer. He can charge his gun like Zero and ground bounce an opponent with it. He can add "charges" to his sword for more powerful moves by revving it up or by timing special moves. Plus his Devil Trigger is way more unique than both Dante and Vergil's, it's an astral demon form that floats around Nero and essentially doubles his attack rate and power like Sogenmu. It also gives him a lot of DT exclusive stuff like Maximum Showdown/Bet and the twirling Summoned Swords. He also has an evasive move called Table Hopper to make opponent's whiff attacks and can relaunch in the air.

HAHAHA I can't believe it took someone this long to point that shit out. Vergil has insane range on his air combos and really good "abare". Some of that stuff even Dante would've had a hard time following it up.
Force Edge isn't Dante's and Vergil had it first. So it's more Vergil's than Dante's.

No doubt that DMC characters would make for great fighters. The series itself is like a big old God Hand full of all kinds of Genes.
Still, saturating the game with those characters is just gonna piss people off for sure. DMC characters also seem to be Dev hogs with all the time that the team spends on them as opposed to other characters.
I like my great fighters as much as anyone else, but it might've been nice to see a strong Cap, Haggar, Chun, Tron, Lei Lei, Storm, Morrigan etc.
Seems like Capcom's producers play favorites a little too often for some people's tastes is all.
Still, I'm hyped since I might use Trish and Vergil.
