I've kind of gone off 2D fighters lately, as the competitive scene has taken off and showed my pathetic abilities for what they really are... but having three extra Final Fight characters and Elena is going to be amazing. Will probably get rid of SSFIV and pick this up.

I'm a little disappointed about the stages, I've played a lot of SFXT so I am as sick of seeing them as I am the original SFIV stages.
I hope they at least rework them a little, I expect they will. They'll have to take out any Tekken references/chars for a start.
Jurassic Research Facility and Cosmic Elevator don't really fit in my mind, I know SF's hardly grounded in reality, but they're taking the silliness too far.

I'm not sure why they just didn't keep the original story of Cammy being Bison's former girlfriend.

I think they retcon'd some of that Shadowloo stuff, because apparently Sagat had already left Shadowloo by the end of Alpha 3. Which I mean...they must've been really awkward to invite him back to the SF2 World Warrior tournament since he ditched your ass not too long ago.

People complaining about characters being rehashed would of play the game for a week or two and then move on to the new CoD or AC anyway. Every one that still plays this game is going to get USF4.
Seriously, Bison has some unresolved sexual issues. Maybe that's why he's so evil, dude needs to see a shrink.

Yup Bison (and Cammy and Rose) have seriously fucked up origins. From what I understand, Rose and Bison were once the same person, but the Bison part decided to go full on evil and force the good part of the soul out of his body, forming Rose. From there Cammy was engineered from Bison's dna in order to be a clone body.

Most people that play SF4 don't even like SFxT so I don't see why is this an issue at all?
You get to play the characters everyone wanted from SFxT in a game you like, why is this a bad thing?
God Elena is my favorite SF character ever.

That's definitely the case for me. I was disappointed with the AE character additions, and then adding characters that I do like to SFxT, which I couldn't stand to play. I mean, yeah whatever they're rehashing characters but they're characters that I want in the game I want them in.

I'm really wondering if the Cammy Strike buff (lower to the ground) means that she's going to be able to do tiger knee on the non-EX version again. The damage nerf on heavy attacks and perhaps tightening some links slightly to make some of her combos different/harder toe execute s is basically all that's needed to pull her back a necessary amount, but giving her back tiger knee CS could just mean she remains just as dangerous but in a different way.

If they tone down her damage but give TKCS back she's basically buffed in the end lol.

Lets run down the list of what it shows
- A Mt rushmore of shadoloo bosses
- A giant buddha statue that is also a main lookout post
- A truly gigantic fighting stadium and shrine dedicated to M. Bison that would make North Korea jealous
- A fucking mystical crytsal castle of magic and unicorns
- Humongous satalite in space, it even has little skeleton arms (why does it have arms!?)
- Another ancient castle made of fucking sand perched on top of toothpicks
- An underground facility equal to the Hadron colider (he has six of those)
- Underground hot springs spa room
- Fucking nuclear submarines
- various scientific research labs of all manner of evil
- A giant aquarium filled with giant sharks and giant squids and shit
- A fucking space shuttle and silo, which looks to be launched out of his gigantic swimming pool (cool as shit)
- And waterfalls with a little stick figure bungee jumping off of it.
- And that cool ass control room with the globe perched on the snakes AND TRAPDOORS UNDER THE SEATS THAT LEAD TO A PIT OF ALLIGATORS!
This might explain why both Cammy and Rose seem to have a penchant for Battle Angel style octopus lips.

Don't forget that other characters are getting buffed too, ken will be a lot stronger period and the removable of unblockables also makes Cammy weaker
