That f*cking cracked me up. Didn't expect it and it was all too funny. And that

They should buy the engine and use it to do HOME.

That was sooooooooooooooooo funny to me because it took me a second to GET IT. I was looking down for the guy below me and then I was like OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I see what you did there then bussed out in continuous and uncontrollable laughter. I couldnt even play the game for a good 5 mins.

The game is just so funny. It's just like Adam Sessler said, the lines arent being delivered in a way where the characters know the camera is there. It's so casual and it's like they're in their own world and in their own situation and not worried about "us" the audience.

Only 9,000 people playing MP at peak. WTF? I hope those numbers are wrong.

Yeah almost everyone on my list were playing the SP campaign, can't complain, it was and still is awesome.

On Chapter 18 atm, which means I'm almost done :(

Pretty much 10/10 so far, this is easily Game of the Year, but it's REALLY game of the GENERATION

So... for those who finished the game
how many of you attempted to take a swipe at Harry Flynn in the section where he's got a gun on you and you have to help Lazarovich cross? If you didn't, I suggest you try on your next run.

Finished ! I'm seeing myself in at least other 5 playtroughs... really too good.

Great Great game, every gamer should have a chance to play this.

I'm loving coop too, but i find competitive multiplayer partially ruined by the presence of too powerful weapons... i smelled it in the betas but unfortunately this aspect of the game is still there...

I think grenade launcher and maybe rpg should have beem left out.

I actually dont mind them at all, they are a specialty item and the grenade launcher isnt as powerful as one would think...and the rpg is quite rare.

You know the engine is made by Naughty Dog which is owned by Sony. They don't have to "buy" anything. Naughty Dog 2.0 Engine trounces Unreal Engine 3 in my opinion.

LOL. I tried that and was surprised at what happened.

Just finished the game, GAME OF THE FUCKING GEN! I freaking loved it, there were some rough edges at the beginning but when you engage you are in for a journey my friend. Also (and this is a freaking fact) best graphics ever! Yes better than Crysis, the amount of detail, textures, variety of textures, geometry, lighting, art design, it's insane! Just when you thought you just had seen the most beautiful piece of gaming visuals in your life the game throws you a better one and it hits you right in the head, the dogs are crazy, freaking crazy.

Also when I got to
Shambhala
my jaw was on the floor and instead of
running for my life
I just walked around peacefully contemplating the visuals:lol The graphics kept distracting me:lol

Just finished, and it took me a little over 12 hours. I got to say I'm mighty impressed. I played the first Uncharted just last week so the characters and how the game plays was still fresh in my mind, but nothing felt stale. Definitely on a very small list of games I'd consider as my GOTY. I can't believe I missed 69 treasures though. I didn't search every nook and cranny, but I did look around every level before going on. Oh well, just another reason to play through again after I put more time in a few other games that just came out. Well done Naughty Dog.

In terms of visuals, I thought the game looked quite nice up to chapter 13, but from that point on it truly separates itself from its competitors. The graphics and art design are absolutely stellar in chapters 16, 17 and 18, nothing on console touches it. How can it possibly get any better in the last few chapters?:lol

Dude, it only gets funnier. You need to complete this game.
Just as soon as I get my PS3 back from you!

Sadly, I don't think I'll be able to finish it in the same way I started it. :(
And that's on a HDTV + Surround sound. If I cant finish it in that fashion, I'm afraid I wont finish it just yet.

OH yea, you have that Bravia @ your house right? I can just bring my speakers over, even though the experience wont be as good. Cant you just go back to that house?!

Unlike the first game, treasures can now be shot down from the ceiling or high objects.

The game looked exactly like Crysis in a bunch of spots!
Especially at the beginning. (1st chapter)

Now I'm not one to complain. I hate it. But wtf is this shit?
sl370357.jpg

Nevermind got a pm from arnie.

Up to Chapter 22 and taking a break; probably beat it tomorrow. Chapter 21 was....damnnnnnnnnnn. Co-op is so much fun. Was probably 2 minutes from finishing The Village on hard and got disconnected. I feel so deflated now haha.

I think a lot of people are playing though the campaign first and then going to multi. The online numbers should rise in the next few days.

And speaking of MP, there still needs to be more specific options in the playlists. I've been trying to get into a co op survival for 10 minutes now and keep getting Gold Rush. Christ.

Did he explain? That seems random.

What was it?
He says it might have something to do with the DNS my ISP provided.
Basically I haven't been able to play the game online at all. Hopefully we find the solution.

I did, and lol'ed at that.

The Dev Team Thinks of Everything!

Finished last night, Game of The Year, and now one of my all-time favs.

Holy Shit at the Convoy Level! And Shambala floored me.

On the flip side, this like the Dark Knight coming out and being mad that you have to wait for #3. I have been so spoiled by the graphics...

Luckily, Ratchet & Clank, MW2 and repeated playthroughs will see me though until God of War.

i'm on chapter 18 after stopping at 7 last night.

the few chapters leading up to 18 are the most impressive ...events..i've witnessed/taken part of this gen.

that is all

all hail uc2

*nod*

Also, alot of the "don't visit message boards" crowd may not realize UC2 has a quality MP mode.

Hopefully word of mouth...

The question is, have you tried
doing it twice in a row?
:D

I am just getting into MP. Do you guys really expect people to play MP before they finish SP? Especially considering the quality of the SP.

I thought he was bluffing :lol

Not sure if this needs to be spoilered, but maybe...it's probably been stated already anyway:

The train level made me reminisce about the awsomeness that was the Goldeneye train level. I'll be replaying that chapter quite a bit. Loved it.

Brad's video review at Giant Bomb was dead-on in its entirety. If you don't have a PS3 but are reading this thread, find a friend who will let you borrow it and play Uncharted 2.

Worry about the console fantard crap later. Just play this game.

Has anything like Chapter 21, Convoy, been done before?
Even if it isnt an entirely original concept, it's fucking executed in such a kick ass manner.
I was lukewarm on the first few chapters of the game, but the game steadily kicks it into overdrive. The stuff in Tibet is GOTY material.

Not really sure if this is spoilers, it's a comment about a small problem I had close to the end of the game,
Anyone else feel their was a little too much focus on shoot outs near the end of the game? Felt like it was a nonstop barrage of it until you neared the finish. Kind of boring and frustrating to be honest.

Really amazing though, recommended to anyone with a PS3.
