Uncharted 3 - E3 2011 Gameplay and Trailer

Maybe killing Elena is a bit too much. But they need to ship her off elsewhere for a few sequels. Make her disappear (maybe she got lost during an avalanche, got kidnapped?), so that in the next installment Drake has to partnered off with someone else, a new girl. Plus, it'll give an interesting twist on the story.

That's *exactly* why it'd make an awesome plot. To have her being wrenched away from Drake will create an interesting storyline for the next installment.

Nothing in the trailers pointed to this though...hes making it up I reckon. Especially, considering the interplay which is supposed to go on in the aeroplane scene. I am guessing they are together.

I was just looking for something from the same angle. I don't think she was better looking there either. That scene had a problem with shiny eyes on her, the problem they have eliminated now.

Yeah, I saw the ring pic but the part about her being married to someone else wasn't there.

Maybe it's too early to celebrate after all..... I mean, who wouldn't want to marry her? XD
 
I say someone else cuz Nate doesn't have a ring on. Her ring is interesting though in that it's not a thin gold band with a big diamond on it, but a flatish silver/blue thing. Someone get a closeup of Francis Drake's ring stat!

Romantic treasure hunter is a bit dull compared to someone new with each outing. I remember looking at the page in his journal full of women, and thinking that it would be pretty cool to have someone new each time.

Often times, it is a viable way to advance the story, even better if it's completely unexpected. Hell, even Bond lost his wife.

One of the writers from Naughty Dog mentioned that the person that Nate is in a crisis is different from who he is in the real world. He knew Flynn, Eddy Raja, and was fully willing to screw Flynn over with Chloe and take the treasure for himself. From the looks of U3 so far, Drake still has the hunter in him, that shit doesn't go away. So it'll be interesting to see if Elena can finally handle it, or she walks away/dies hard.

I'm fine either way. Though I'd like to see Nate with a redhead. Just cause.
 
I think it'd be cool if we got a chapter in Nathan's apartment or something. He's just hanging out, and these people attack him looking for the ring. We'd get a pretty cool glimpse into Drake's regular life.
 
Twist, sir francis drakes ring is not the one on his neck but the one on elenas finger. The villain takes a fake ring.

Ok, I know I started this, but guys chill. It's the same ring around her finger that's around his neck. She doesn't have it on from the beginning of the game, but he puts it on, let's saaaay, halfway through. All right? Relax.

That would be amazing. Walk around his home and interact with his stuff. Could be a nice change of pace like the Tibetan village.

I wonder what Nate's home would look like. Bachelor pad or crummy apartment?

It would be cool to see what he's like outside of all the treasure hunting and stuff.

Whoa, I'm trying to avoid too much media from this so I can go in fresh but the direct feed screens on this page are absolutely stunning. I can't wait to see this in person on the new plasma and surround sound system I'm getting.
