I'm so tempted to watch the trailer, but I don't want to with 2 weeks left. I think I'll play some more Arkham City to help forget about it.

Man, there seems to be some serious
dramatic tension between Drake and Sully. Secret reveal, Sully is Drake's biological father, mother is the girl from Lima. Somebody call Maury

I didn't want to watch, and Uncharted is the only franchise that has made me think twice before watching new footage, but I failed to do so. AND I LOVE IT!!!

Lot of locations and new stuff spoiled, but damn it looks so fucking good. It's like there's nothing you can find that will make you say you don't want to, at least, try this game.

Based on threads from MediaBlackoutGAF, some people take the definition of a spoiler to as insane a level as you could imagine. OMG THATS A LOCATION IN THE GAME AND I SEE ONE OF DRAKE'S NEW OUTFITS NOOOOOO!!!

I'd call Aeris being killed in the commericals for FFVII a real spoiler, and something it would make sense to avoid trailers for, but the game industry is typically restrained about that kind of thing.

I watched it and it hardly spoiled anything. Drake is searching for something, bad guys also want it and are prepared to do whatever it takes to get it, action scenes in certain locations but only glimpses. Basically, exactly like Uncharted 1 and 2...

desert city
tomb place with insects
horse riding

is there something that will really make me regret watching? I don't care about locations, but plot details i would like to live without.

EDIT: I caved. WTF, no real spoilers. got panicked for nothing.

HYPE!!!!!!!! playing through Drake's fortune right now, then gonna play among theives. getting prepared for the awesomeness.

Terrible graphics. Someone should upgrade Naughty Dog's devkits from the PlayStation 2.

Seriously thoughts; I hope there's more in-engine cut scenes this time around, or Sony has had the decency to splash out on a DL disk for higher quality pre-rendered video. Though the graphics of Uncharted 2 were wonderful, the video compression really got to me.

Ok so spoiler wise, yea sure it shows a few more locations & set pieces. But if you've watched everything else, it's not too bad.

Otherwise, HOLY CARP. Naughty Gods, I love you so much. I mean there are some crazy good games coming out, but nothing gets me hyped like Uncharted 3. 11-1-11 is gonna be so good.

the ones on the trailers look really good, a step up from the compression ones in U2 but then again I can't say for certain that it is true since it's just a vid on Youtube, guess we'll see in about 2 weeks

Maybe if it were a cutscene instead of gameplay footage, but it's almost certainly the latter apart from that one wide shot.

Welp! I couldn't resist. Spoiler ho till the end. But thankfully it's not that spoilery.

A few things to note:

* WTF? They made Elena looking like a dead ringer of Emily Rose now. She wasn't looking like this in UC1 and UC2.

* The song they used in the trailer is Sony Pictures' favorite band, E.S. Posthumus. The song is called "Kalki". It's from their latest and final album before one of the band members passed away, "Makara".
