Uncharted 3 MP Beta Thread: Cinematic Murder Testing

So do enemies stop spawning after a while if you take too long to complete siege session ?

They seriously need to add some warning for the Siege mode in Coop. Occasionally you'll encounter a bad player who doesn't fucking want to get inside the area, and they somehow need to rectify this (one player can ruin the entire co-op game, especially when peeps can join a game that's already in progress).

This game is so much fun! I haven't played a multiplayer game like this before!!! ^_^

Jumping around the place, climbing walls, pulling people to their deaths is so awesome. Its really well put together. I just hope they add move melee techniques like hand to hand combat or kicking etc

It would be awesome if you could sprint towards an enemy and perform a jump kick on them sending them to their deaths (if you were fighting on a roof or high story building)

It's been that way with me for the duration of the beta, but matchmaking kills me. I'm riding a bad losing streak right now.

Seriously. 3 games in a row yesterday I was in the neighborhood of 25-5 and lost. :|

Same with me. It just takes too long to start a match and now I've started encountering issues where after a match it dumps everyone and looks for new players....WTH?

Matchmaking needs to be revamped before the release.

That could be another glitch altogether, but the game mode doesn't switch until the time spent with all players in the siege location is complete. Whether the enemies spawn or not, spending time in the area should complete the task.
 
Why is it that sometimes when I'm downed I can revive myself and my co-op buddies using medic kickback, but other times I can't?
 
While I really enjoy the RPG elements in the multiplayer, I'd wish there would be more levels to the boosters, a ton more unlockable clothing and alot more collectable treasures.

After having to leave about 5 co-op arena games due to TKers or just plain nubs like the ones pictured above, I finally found two people who knew how to work as a team, and god damn it was about 100000% more fun with them. I'm glad I was able to find randoms who knew how2p.

Edit: Forgot to mention we all stayed for about 5 games, and I managed to get 3 levels out of it and finally hit 25. Now to do 10 matches of 2v2v2...

p.s. best U2 map is High Rise and that's a fact.


This. That and the Village are my favorites.

Same thing happened to me today, found 2 good co-op randoms and we stayed for around 5 games.

You shouldn't even be able to use it when you're in the downed state. Maybe you use it before you fall? Could just be a bug.

Co-op arena and maybe hardcore (it wasn't mentioned on the beta schedule) are also disappearing after today.
 
LMAO, my brother just had the craziest glitch during the Airplane cutscene. Screen was black but you could still shoot and run around and the cutscene after loading for ~30 seconds was messed up (half of the plane was missing etc.)

I wish more randoms I play with would realize in Chateau when it goes to Survival mod, the best place is that little room with the 2 blown out entrances in the walls. They all have to funnel to you and you just pick them off and take ammo runs. It seems a lot of people want to just run around and they end up getting surrounded and demolished.
 
Man whats with all the RPG wielding enemies in the last round of Co-Op arena? Shit gets rough when every enemy is either armored with a shotgun, can choke you or has an RPG.

Last round? Those assholes have been popping up in the first or second wave in my last few co-op games, at least on Chateau. Wiped a few times because we'd have 2 guys with RPG's just taking turns shooting us while the guys we kill drop grenades. Seems to only happen on Chateau though, Airstrip is definitely way easier (and in my experience, much more rewarding).

Grenades are fine. You should say remove LOADOUTS for Hardcore.

Oh cool. Guess it was updated? I was going off an outdated list I pulled up on my phone (even though it was supposedly from Naughty Dog's site). Weird.

Except when airstrip co-op arena bugs out and you've got three enemies with rocket launchers plus three of the heavily armored shotgun guys in your siege spot in the second round. Which it does often.

They're not in the beta version of Arena and I think they've been replaced in Adventure with the new machine gun guy that carries the idol.
 
Co-op is truly terrific when you are playing with the right people. Did Chateau with two randoms last night and with the strategic use of "team medic" we beat every round with three minutes to spare and didn't lose one of the ten lives.

The only problem is people who will wait to be revived when an enemy with a rocket launcher is standing right next to them. The "suicide" option is a lot smarter than flushing three lives down the toilet early in the game.
 
The one truly dumb thing about the game is the load outs. Which clown thought it was a good idea to charge 3 medal points when changing load outs. What the fuck?

Also the game should be 6v6. I feel left out without the buddy system at times :(

Big thumbs up from me on Uncharted 3's 3D implementation. Little to no Crosstalk, good depth and convergence. The beta looks extremely clean vs a lot of other 3d titles. If the full game is this clean it'll be prime 3d demo material.

I wonder why ND didn't increase the player count. It makes perfect sense for 6x6.
I want a buddy when I play and not be left out. :(
 
I don't like how co-op messes up when someone joins a current game. If you're playing Siege and someone joins in the middle of your match, you all have to die because you won't be able to capture your zone because it will never light up to green when all three people are inside.

If you guys think co-op arena is hard, you obviously haven't played co-op arena in Uncharted 2 with just two people (instead of 3). Try it out some time because I love it. Siege becomes so awesome in the original maps like The Sanctuary and Lost Village as well as The Fort. Same with Gold Rush too. Uncharted 3's co-op arena needs to kick our asses a lot more because it really is too easy, even the later rounds. We've got boosters now. There's no excuse.

For that Spider code, you'll probably need the US version of the beta. I couldn't redeem it with the HK version, so I deleted it and downloaded the US version to redeem the code.
