Not saying parties should be eliminated at all! Just pointing out how absurd all the whining has been considering this is the biggest game-breaker out there.
... It would be nice though if parties were matched up against other parties, provided the player-base is there.
I ended up in a party match against these kids on mics (and I think one of their dads) and I did probably too well against them (like I was running around the whole map and getting multiple medals, etc.). The dad's response at the end was "Let's make sure he's not in the next one..." Next thing I know, I'm getting assigned to another random TDM game. Then I went back to normal, 1 to 1 K
My point is party matches have their place -- help newer players get better, help crappy players like me realize they are crappy, teamwork, etc.
