Yeah, the remake should be better though, as it's not being coded in flash .

Oh yeah, I remember how it's written in the manual that you need a better CPU if you want to play with a graphics card without T&L support.

I have this game somewhere lying around in my house, but only tried it once on my previous laptop years ago and it didn't work. Now with my slightly gaming laptop of 1 year old, I need to find it and boot it up.

Always hear people sing praises of how funny it is, and funny FPSs are a dying breed (Timesplitters).

FTL.

One and done. If FTL is ever released on a portable device, I'd probably buy that device, no questions. 100+ hours and it's still amazing.

FTL is 160 MB. If you're really tight on space and/or money, I really recommend:
Desktop Dungeons Alpha (addicting puzzle/dungeon crawl hybrid, alpha is free): 8mb
Maldita Castilla (awesome G'n'G alike, entirely free): 15Mb
Papers Please! (indescribable and harrowing, free demo): 20Mb
Freedom Planet (Sonic-alike, free demo): 30Mb
