Guess I need to post this again since there are some people who seem to have already forgotten after 2 page. Wow, how the mind slips!

"Allegedly"

Opening admitting to sexually assaulting someone(then banning anyone who called him out for it)

Posting revenge porn with their real full names then another admin(a now jailed pedophile) printed the photos and jacked off over them and sent it to the boyfriend.

You're right, how can we even know if he's guilty or not? HMMMM

What really caught my eye was DJ Hero 3 and future Band Hero games. I wonder if any progress was really made on a Band Hero sequel.

Video here

A lot of interesting footage and details about "Hero World", the MMO-lite Facebook game FreeStyle and Activision developed with Virtual Fairground to link all of the Hero games together.

The MMO itself wasn't a Facebook game. It was a browser game that would have been hosted on their own servers. There was a separate Facebook game planned to launch alongside it. Sorry if I didn't make that clear enough in the video.

Ah, that's good to know.

Wow, gives a lot of context to why the franchise died after 2010 - shame Freestyle lost the whole idea as it was incredibly forward thinking to today's trends.

The ideas looekd cool and it would've made some good money... But the real shame and lost was the studio behind it :/

I don't think they lost the idea so much as Activision saw a chance for Guitar Hero to come back but wasn't prepared to dole out the money that it used to for the series. Activision wasn't about to go diving into the deep end on rhythm games again after the bath they took by the end of the original run of Guitar Hero.

That sounds like it was a huge undertaking and it sucks that the other dev company got ruined because of it.

Yeah, as a huge GH fanboy (Heck, the 5 lane guitar hero footage in this gameplay is me playing ha) this intrigues the hell out of me, oh, what it could have been...

I like guitar hero live, but dj hero and its sequel are the best things the plastic music genre has ever produced. Just spent an hour yesterday looking for a pc solution after hanging out at a club and hearing a bunch of cameo.

Any luck?

I assume the closest you could get is dolphin maybe? not sure if it can emulate the controller

I'm kinda sad I skipped out on DJ Hero originally, played some of DJ Hero 2 for this video, and ended up playing some more after I finished recording

I think DJ Hero 2 is my favorite of the plastic music games. The soundtrack is ridiculous, I wish they could have released it on iTunes or something.

It's a shame the genre imploded, I feel like every console generation should have a main "_____ Hero" game at the start and then just continuous DLC expansions. Would probably help prevent the over saturation of like 12 different bundles on store shelves.

This is absolutely the case: you can play it through dolphin, but dolphin can't recognize that you have a dj controller. So until someone writes code for it, dj hero is gonna die on old hardware. Fucking sad.

I know the guy that wrote the firmware for the DJ controller. So what's needed?
