Valentina Sampaio is the first transgender “Sports Illustrated” swimsuit model.

There are millions of whiny 5-year olds on Earth, and I AM THEIR KING.
When I was living in SF years ago, I moved in with a girl in the Castro district, and I remember running into plenty of beautiful transgender women. I never dated one, but I always assumed that if they were post-op, I wouldn’t care, I am not sure if I want kids after all.

I don't mean to offend anyone, but a woman is more than a soft voice, plump lips, breasts, and a fatty buttocks. A woman is a human whose pair of sex chromosomes are comprised of two X chromosomes and who subsequently has ovaries, a uterus, and the ability to become pregnant.

No matter how much surgery and hormone therapy that a man undergoes in order to attain the superficial characteristics of a woman, his pair of sex chromosomes will always be comprised of an X and a Y chromosome, he'll never have ovaries or a uterus, and he'll never be able to become pregnant.

There is no such thing as a transgender woman. There is only one type of woman: woman.

I am always and will forever be pro real-women, they worked too damn hard to carve a place in society in sports, beauty, the workplace, etc for themselves to let some lesser dudes who failed at everything else but being "Women" to come in and start claiming the spots they made for themselves.

This shit is getting nuts, you can't tell me every other woman in that issue isn't looking in the mirror right now thinking about "What did I do wrong to be considered uglier than him" even though they'll give the PC opinion when asked. Live your lives, but stop encroaching on Women like this.

I always assumed in the age of internet porn stuff like this would die.

Like, my assumption was guys bought this when they were too young orashamed to buy pornos.

You can support A without being an asshole to B as well though. It doesn't have to be one or the other.

I'm in favor of anyone who isn't ugly.

Did I say I mistreat them? No. I respect them, work with them, don't want harm to come to anyone, etc but the encroaching on Female spaces is what I don't like nor would ever respect and believe me there are TONS of Women who feel the same but they're just quiet about it. But go ahead and ask, you'll be shocked what their opinions are behind closed doors.

I don't believe I'd be aware of a difference if I saw the magazine in stores and frankly don't care either way. She looks attractive and that's what counts for covers.

I do not object to there being more attractive women in the world, transgender or otherwise.

Oh boy
I mean, she is pretty, but a trap is a trap.
Most men are tuned off by the thought of finding trans woman attractive, not because they are bigots or transphobic, but because they are essentially still looking at a man. You cant turn this off and you cant force it either.
I guess we’ll see how that issue of the magazine will sell.

That is literally a dude in drag. Nothing about that jawline, nose, thick waist, or voice says feminine to me.

Put up Paulina, Kate, Kathy, Cheryl, Tyra, Brooklyn, or Christie for comparison and see what I mean.

SI cover models aren't all winners for me but this isn't even a close one.

I knew a guy who claimed he was xx chromo and he looked acted sounded just like a regular dude. I asked him about his plumbing and he said his nuts are smaller than xy males and he shoots blanks but everything else is normal. He could have been BSing me but that's a pretty wild thing to lie about. This was like 15 yrs ago so not any kind of SJW thing.

To be clear, it's not so much that is a transwoman on the cover, just the looks of that specific one. I've little doubt there are others that epitomize the SI bikini look far better to me.

But has SI ever had an Asian cover model? Or a first nations one? I demand diversity!

No, that's correct. You can also have varying levels between male and female genitalia. As we all know, the embryo, even a male, start out as female and at some point during the the pregnancy the genitalia continues developing into the male version. You could have multiple things go wrong and end up at any point in between or with features of both more or less intact. Just google intersex.

Look, whatever. I haven't bought an SI swimsuit issue (or any other SI issue) since I was a teenager.

But I kinda doubt this is what their market wants. There's a market for bikini wearing trans women. For sure. Maybe that place is the SI swimsuit issue, but that sounds incorrect. To me.

There is no such thing as a transgender woman. There is only one type of woman: woman.

How can anybody be a woman if there is no definition of what a woman is? Like when SJWs say, "a woman is a person who says they are a woman", they've just tried to define a word by using the word in the definition, which is a tautology and a syllogism. It's impossible for anybody -- transgender or not -- to say "I am a man/I am a woman" if there is no definition of what it is to be a man or a woman. At least in the "good old days" of transexualism, you had to go through the surgery to "become" the other sex, so there was some sort of definition, based on genitalia, But since that was deemed exclusionary, the new definition is meaningless and illogical.

My definitions are : a woman is a human being of the female sex, and a man is a human being of the male sex. That guy on the cover is a man.
