Yes, they've been experimenting with haptic feedback and biometrics for years now. So at the very least, if this is what came out of it, I have to try it out.
Still no solution for having to take your thumbs off the move/look controls to press buttons. Terrible.
Fixed that for you.Wonder if the DOTA 2 community will have "Keyboard/mouse or FEED!"
Wait there are 8 buttons on the back? Well that makes a difference.
People don't like change. I trust Valve. Crow will be eaten.
Well, the other pad is the mouse. What would the first pad be, if not movement controls?
That thing is ugly as sin. If it was made by any other company this thread would be completely different.
The face buttons are there akin to the "start & select" buttons. There are 16 buttons on this thing - 8 of which are able to be pressed without lifting your thumbs.I don't get it. If those face buttons correspond to the normal ABXY buttons in like a 360 controller, does that mean I have to move my left thumb away from the trackpad just to press Y or X?
One haptic track pad? Okay. Two? Nope, you've lost the plot.
You need a physical stick or set of buttons for movement, unless we all want to control games like SegaSonic Arcade?
Imagine if Microsoft or Sony would've announced this? Lol the thread would be hilarious.
Total of 6 in the back not 8.

I'm intrigued.Crazier things have happened.
It was terrible
I don't know why valve seems to hate those who purchased and loved his games, and insult with all of this...
The best part is the buttons on the handles. When I first saw the ABXY buttons I though it would be horrible to have to lift the left thumb to press it, but with the handle buttons I can do it without removing my thumb from the trackpad and can put secondary, no important functions on X/Y instead.
