Yeah, I think you missed the part where the comic poked fun at both parties. Which would be the whole thing.

The comic is funny, and the fact that it relates spore to the whole subversive creationism/intellegent design fiasco is priceless. The fact that Maxis did their own version of it is pretty impressive, to boot. I'd say, you might need to lighten up just a smidge.
