Walmart Black Friday Video Game deals

Kind of not gaming related, but does anyone know if any of those TV deals are worth it?

Same, is that Vizio 3D any good?

Also, any word on how much the PS "Mayhem" Move bundles are gonna cost?

Batman: AC and Battlefield 3 for me. Crazy crazy deal. Do 24hr Wal Marts let you line up inside? I remember for the 360 launch they let us line up inside all day.

No deals on MW3, Skyrim, or Uncharted 3......

Emerson a good TV company? That $188 32 inch is tempting.

I got the same one last Black Friday and it started craped out on me. Though my friend also bought one and he hasn't had any problems so that could have just been my bad luck.

You people should know that amazon already has some offers leading up to black friday.

I think they you can already get some awesome deals.

Xbox 4GB with $50 credit
PS3 160GB with $50 credit

and such

Wow, lots of gamers are going to get trampled at walmart this year. There are some really good deals going on. I might even risk driving there for Infamous 2 at $28.

Damn @PS3 Bundle for $199... WHOA!

That Shit is gonna sell like fucking Hot Cakes

Can't wait to see Best Buy BF ads, I'll be there again this year, first 2 years I was #1, 3rd year #3, last year #2 in line

I spent roughly $5,500 for $11,000 worth of stuff last year, let's see the damage for this year

Off topic, but I'll be in the states for Black Friday. Are there any decent laptop or Cell phone deals?

There's always the Sony Vaio's on Best Buy BF ads, mostly likely will be Core i3's, only thing you lose is on the graphics card department ie "Budget Laptop"

1 for $400, -1GB Ram (3GB) and -Blu-Ray drive
1 for $500, +1GB RAM (4GB) and +Blu-Ray drive also includes a free BR movie or laptop bag or headphones or some combination of those 3

Last year I got to Best Buy @8AM on Thursday, stayed there till @5AM Friday when doors opened
So yeah.... 21 hours, thank god this year store is opening up @ Midnight, so only 16 Hours!

I don't mind spending 800 or so dollars. I just want something with oomph with a minimum of 4gb of ram.

2010 Best Buy Laptop Deals:

Also Best Buy always sneaks in a middle budget laptop for sub-$200 ($159-$179), but only < 10-15 per store, those go with-in < 2 minutes

I guess I won't be buying any games over at walmart, nothing really there that interests me. Plus side, I will be avoiding the crazy crowds there so yay

Emerson used to be a cheap CRT brand and those TV's never broke. However, the HD may be different as I haven't heard good things.

Vizio, on the other hand, is a fine TV. May not be the best, but it's far from the worst.

Good deal on the PS3 bundle and a great deal on the Kinect/Arcade package.

I wonder if Amazon will be price matching. And if the Gold deal will last more than 2 seconds.

I swear I'm on a laggy Amazon server. By the time those things go live for me, it's already well into waiting list period. Actually, I don't swear. I know from following the Slickdeals threads that not everyone goes live at identical times. Some geographic regions are clearly faster than others. And a minute can mean all the difference.

I like the idea of getting some of these, but in all honesty I really shouldn't due to the backlog of games I have accumulated for myself recently (plus I have most of them already :| )

Dance Central 2 at $15 might be a snap-purchase for me though.

Sweet Deals, from Wally World

I would get the 47" LG 3D LED tv and the PS3 bundle if you don't already own a PS3, great combo for a great price.

$10 Shrek
$15 Toy Story 3
game to play with my daughter

$15 Heavy Rain and GoW3 for my selfish a$$.

Holy $hit, I need this to
to add to my growing backlog

It's good to see they dare not starting at 5am this year, which means I might actually get some sleep this year! YAY! Been working PT there for years and the 4am alarm to get up and go to a rowdy, packed and over-zeleous crowd trying to tear my head off at 5am is great news!

I'm going to Walmart to hide a copy of Battlefield 3 PC somewhere in the store. PC "games not locked up" Master Race confirmed.

LOL, the camera is watching for you's...

How good is the image quality on that 3D Vizio? I might get rid of my current 1080p 40 inch Samsung LNT4061f and upgrade to that. I like my TV but the color banding problem it has started getting to me, whereas my roommate has a 32 inch 720p Vizio which doesn't have said problem, and even can play PAL 50 HZ content that mine can't.

I'm debating between the Vizio and the LG. If I get the LG I'll prob sell the BR player since I already have my PS3 for that.

360 Arcade with kinect, Gears of War 3, and 3 months of Live? That's ridiculous.

There's two different deals. You don't get kinect with the Gears package. Though you could buy the Kinect/Arcade bundle for 199.99 and use the 50 gift card towards Gears.

I have a 22" Vizio LED 1080p set I bought last fall that has the internet apps on it up on my bedroom wall. It is a fantastic set, and I use Netflix on it every night, check the weather with live animated radar maps etc.

I also have a 50" Vizio plasma from a few years ago downstairs and it still looks better than most newer HDTVs I've seen. Mostly because plasma rocks the world when it comes to contrast.

Im not gonna wait to get Zelda $10 off...

This is easy.

Buy Day 1 for full price at B&M
Play and enjoy :D
Buy at Walmart then return back to the retailer you bought on Day 1

*this does not work with online-only retailers though (buy.com, Amazon, etc.)

What's stopping me from going into Walmart right now and buying these games, and then keeping them unopened and price matching them on Black Friday? Can you even do that?
It did get pointed out that PMing won't really work on Black Friday, but you could always put the stuff in layaway right now and then get the price adjusted sometime on Black Friday, like at the end of the day (providing it isn't a doorbuster item).

I've never bought stuff from Walmart, but does the ad only showing the 360/PS3 versions of games mean the PC versions aren't affected? I'd definitely pick up BF3 for $28, but only if I can get it on PC.

I don't know about cell phones, but laptops are all super cheap when compared to what they where are a couple years ago. Outside of apple, you should be able to get whatever you want for under 800 easy.

I'm just gonna go buy yakuza 4, kinect sports 2, and dance central 2 and then just go trade them into gamestop to make some quick cash.

The LG TVs typically have 2d->3d conversion if that's something your into. I didn't look up this specific model, though, since some of these models are BF-exclusive.
