That one zone game we were playing earlier, I killed about 5 warhawks with a sniper. :lol

Small maps causes people to want to hover in one place a lot.

OK i've been playing on ranked servers (blue ones) pretty much from the beginning and my stats aren't saving at all...apparently i've only played for an hr and have 34 points. Am I missing something?

I'm gonna be taking a break from Warhawk as I have just recently rented LAIR(was going to buy it but it did not feel right spending $70 on a 4.5/10 game.) and I will be busy trying to play LAIR.

I would say quitting mid-way and not logging out probably causes at least some of the issue.

Anyway.

I really wonder how SCEE servs are managed. I guess it's not coming from incog at all. On SCEA servers they pushed the Dogfights from 50 points to win to 100, because people complained that it was too short (and I agree).
SCEE servs are still on 50 points... and it looks like they didn't get rid of the server full bug. Anyone still has problems too ?

The EU boards mention several updates, I don't know if they were talking about the whole game or just the SCEE servs. Those updates have been done AFAIK, so it doesn't look like it was fixed <_<



(And in other news, I took my server down since there was no gaffers on it (except Click but I decided he had enough fun :lol )

wow wtf, this is the only game that signs me out of psn and then i can't sign back in unless i turn the system off. i've narrowed it down to being a router issue as i was able to play by plugging the ethernet cable from my router directly into the modem, but the signing me out of psn and not being able to sign back in until i shut the system off/on is weird.

i am not sure, i tried SCEE servers again and they worked fine... maybe few of the servers were not updated yet? because ones that i tried worked fine... refreshed properly and joined 31/32 game...

btw, I'd like to know if people that played on my serv (GAFu yesterday and GAF_GMT(#6) today) had any problems ? Freezes, lag or whatever.

I know some of you had a pretty bad ping (Chryz ? 200+ ping ? wtf, don't you live in europe ?) so I was wondering.

I had 200+ since I'm on the West Coast of Canada.

yeah, so... how was it running ? That's what I was asking :p

Just wondering how it was since except the ping, I can't have any other infos. Would be nice if there was some kind of log showing accidental disconnections, times out and stuff.

I don't think I notice any frame skipping on players. I shoot them down okay. :lol

they can do it by server, but if its ranked i dont think you cant.

I agree totally. I had this clown in one of my CTF matches in a missile turret repeatedly blowing all of us on his own team up right at the spawn points. I don't see the point of screwing the game up for other people for no reason. I hope they do something about these losers, like an instant ban for a day or something.

While I can appreciate people hating on the team killing... once you play with people that *know* how to play, it becomes a non-issue. You understood the how and the why you got killed. Usually an accident.

It's the asses that make team killing suck.

I like it. Gives another angle to the game.

I just saw this on the PS Warhawk forum.

FragFX users,

Just got confirmation on the upgrade.

Here is the download links for the firmware update and configuration tool.
First Plug in your FragFX while holding the FragFX SELECT button.

Install the FragFX configuration software first - found here .

Then download the firmware upgrade from the following link

Place the FragFXFirmV205.exe into the same directory as the FragFX Pro software.

Start the Firmware upgrade program

Make sure your FragFX is plugged in.

You will see a popup with a blue progress bar.

Wait for it to complete, you will recieve a message to indicate the update completed successfully.

This will improve your weapon selection ability in Warhawk.

The configuration tool will allow you to adjust the sensitivity of the action buttons.

Make sure not to unplug the fragfx while its programming.

I'm gonna try it out. :D I need better snipe aiming. They are so overpowered that I can use it instead of RPGs against Warhawks if I get it down right.

Yeah, great stuff. :lol I didn't realize the sniper rifle could take down Warhawks until a couple weeks ago when I was going around sniping stuff. lol

I'm on usually from 7:30PM EST daily (just as soon as I get home from work :D ). I've been playing mostly with a friend and on some occasions on unranked servers. This is the most fun I had (online gaming wise) since I first played CS:S. The only gripe is the sparse availability of slots on ranked (official) servers. The ones with decent pings (<100ms) are always full. (Damn slow-ass server browser grr!)

I managed to get into one ranked game today and earned some medals, felt good. :) As soon as Home beta starts, the medals might become more valuable. ;)

I'm just waiting for my 42" HDTV arriving next week and I'll probably start scheduling. Until then, I need to get better. :D

edit: Is there an online profile page (ranking) provided for WarHawk?

ggs people on my CST server. All of the sudden blue team started crushing red, and I was like wtf? Then I noticed all the gaffers left and it as just noobs :lol

This is how you sign up people :D

I added you to the GAFs member list (expect an invite from The Jer soon) and added the server info to the server list (thanks for doing what so many other aren't....). Your server id is GAF_EST(#3),
P.M. me your email address so I can give you the editing rights you need to edit the status of your server.

There was an announcement in the announcement page when logging into Warhawk the first couple of days after launch that stated that the Warhawk rankings/stats were coming soon to Warhawk.com. Until they add the rankings to Warhawk.com, you can check your ranking by logging into the game and going to the community tab (FYI, the stats are currently messed up and are not being updated).

Thanks once again for reading the thread/s and posting all the info in a concise and organized manner :D

I'm from asia, i play on servers with pings ranging from 70-230ms, the latency is not noticeable in warhawk fights but can be noticeable when playing as ground soldiers, maybe i suck but 70% i'll die one on one against someone else.

Mine wasn't bad was it? I'm on a router with three other computers connected to it at all times so I don't know how well my connection is to others. It's pretty fine on my end.

Anyway, your server was fine. I didn't notice one slowdown. Any GAF servers up to play on? If so, I'll go ahead and sign in.
